A jump-Tackle? That was certainly new. So new that Szdo was hit, just barely. Squawking in anger, he darted down with multiple Drill Pecks. Which, if you think about it, is quite a lot.
Everi still watched, itching to be fighting alongside Szdo. The Vulpix continued to watch, looking up at Gull-san occasionally.

The poochyena darted out of the way and fluttered into the air, its dark red wings barely keeping it above ground level. |

Szdo watched the Poochyena fly into the air. He snorted softly, for his foe could hardly get more than a few feet off the ground. The Murkrow glided above the other, a few feet higher up. He darted down for a couple more Drill Pecks.

Suddenly, the wings of the Poochyena gave out, and it flopped to the ground, the Drill Pecks passing straight over its head. |

Szdo squawked in anger, and litted upon the ground. *You are a very fierce fighter. You are.* He stayed in the spot he was, then in amazing speed, darted forward to use Peck upon the Poochyena. The Murkrow clacked his beak slightly, then tried again.

This time, the Pecks hit home, and practically drilled straight through the Poochyena's wing. It cried out in pain and glared at Szdo, using a Satanic Ember as its anger mounted. |

Szdo cawed in pain as the fiery Embers hit home. Jerking to his feet, the Murkrow spread a wing out, making sure it wouldnt touch anything. The Satanic Poochyena had burned Szdo.
Cawing now in anger, the Murkrow darted forward yet again to use Drill Peck, aiming for his foes other wing.

The Poochyena could not dodge, and the pain of the attack caused it to bring its wings back and position them alongside its body so they couldn't be easily attacked. |

Gull-san decided to do the unexpected. He grabbed an empty Pokeball from his pack and threw it at the Poochyena. Szdo hopped away from his opponent, watching the Satanic Pokemon carefully, ready to battle more.
Everi watched as well. Her eyes followed the red and white sphere Pokeball as it hurlted towards the Poochyena. A shiver went through Everi's body and fluffed her feathers up.

The Poochyena was still too strong, though only by a little, and broke out of the Pokeball panting in pain. The Pokeball flew back to Gull-san.
<You cannot... catch me... that... easily...>
It's face contorted in a sort of howling motion, though no sound came out, then it collapsed, moaning. |

Gull-san felt the Pokeball return to his hand, and watched the Poochyena collaspe to the ground. He nodded to Szdo, who hopped towards the Poochyena carefully, then turned to Gull.
*Go ahead, try again.*
Gull-san nodded and threw the Pokeball at the Poochyena again. Everi and Szdo stood back and watched it being flung towards the Satanic Pokemon again.

There was no sound other than the ball whooshing through the air and the tapping as it hit the Poochyena. This time, as the light engulfed the creature, there was no struggling, and the ball closed smoothly dropping to the ground before making a ping noise.

Gull-san quickly grabbed the Pokeball now containing his new Pokemon, and hurried on. He kept Everi and Szdo outside their Pokeballs. He knew his Murkrow was very lonely, and knew being around others would help him. Everi would also help. Talking wise.
<So, how was the fight Szdo?>

Gull-san stared up at the Taillow, interest etching on his face. A bird Pokemon.. like Szdo. Gull-san grinned.
Everi was talking to Szdo still, then paused as she heard the Taillow. The Vulpix looked up and barked softly, <Hi! Who are you? I'm Everi.> Szdo also looked up from his perch on Gull-san's shoulder, but said nothing.

Everi stepped off the Taillow and looked up at Gull-san. She spoke softly, <I think somethings wrong with this dude.> Gull nodded and called out to Dominicile, "What are you doing around these parts? Is this area your home? Want to battle?"

Everi nodded. She knew what it was like to live in the forest. Or maybe she didnt.. but she knew what it was like to live in a nice place. Hearing Domincile's confirmation of a battle, the Angelic Vulpix bounded forward happily.
Gull-san nodded slightly, and called out, "Everi! Ember!"
