<sub>How could Luc have so much energy? Ash stopped to catch his breath, and Luc was running around him like he didn't run at all. Ash sat down on a fallen tree. It was hotter here than he remembered.

"Ok Luc, after i catch my breath, lets find a pokemon to fight. This should be the easiest way to level up, with how much energy you seem to have."

<I'm way ahead of ya.>

Luc was already tapped into aura, his eyes closed as he concentrated. He was, like Ash, still trying to perfect aura. It would be a ton of work, but it could be done. It would be easier if a pokemon showed up and started a fight with Luc.</sub>

A Torkal shuffled into view, its eyes brimming with anger. " Return mah' eggs"! She, her voice sounding that of a mothers, yelled at Ash and Luc.

Luc charged at the Torkal, and performed a force palm, fallowing that up with a powerful bone rush. Depending on how many times Luc can land that on the slow pokemon, he should do some good damage... Hopefully.</sub>

The Mother Torkal countered with a Rapid Spin, making Lucario spin as soon as his paw struck at her. She then stopped and shot a powerfull Ember at him. " I! Want! My! Eggs"!

Luc dodged the ember, him still using aura, and used feint. Then used force palm again.

"Luc, calm down, she is looking for her eggs. Lets find someone else to fight."

Luc already performed teh first attack, and was on the second. Would it land???</sub>

Just then three eggs fell upon Lucs head, then into his arms.
The Female Torkal was suddenly happy, her eyes sparkling. " My eggs"! She rushed forward to GLOMP them, and unfortuanetly Luc as well.

<sub>Luc was glomped by the Torkal, and rolled the egg's out so that they wouldn't get squished. All three of them weren't far away from Lucario. He squirmed to get out from under teh Torkal.

<Be careful, or they would break.>
"Luc, come on. lest find something else to fight. We helped the torkal, now lets hit the road.</sub>

Suddenly the eggs started stirring, and the Mother Torkal jumped off of Luc to watch. " My babies are hatching"!
The Eggs did hatch, though not into what everyone was susspecting. The things to come out of the eggs were....Geodudes.
The Mother Torkal gasped and looked down at the three baby Pokemon. " Their...their...sooo CUTE"! She snuggled the small Geodude, and soon went off, carrying them on her shell.
Just then a Magmar appeared. " Uhh...you wouldn't happened to have seen a Torkal by any chance would ya'"?

<sub>"Um...... Just went that way? Why do you need to know where the Torkal went. Is something wrong?

Ash had concern in his voice, and Luc was dancing around, looking for a fight. Where in the name of everything holy did he get his energy? Ash waited for the Magmar to reply.</sub>

The Magmar seemed to fidget. " Well, you see, she's a....". He gulped. " She's a Ghost. She's the Ghost of a Female Torkal that lost her children in a terrible accident, and now she comes and claims other parents children as her own. I've been hired to stop her". He jumped down and faced Ash. " I'm a Bounty Hunter".

<Yea, he may even get a new friend out of it, like you.>

Ash Sighed and slapped his forehead. He didn't even bother trying to shut up Luc anymore. Sure, it would be cool to have a Magmar, why did Luc need to be so blunt.</sub>

" Uhh, I'm, uh, gonna' consider that". The Magmar started walking towards a bend, where the Female Torkal had gone off to.

<sub>Ash decided to fallow the Magmar, fallowing him towards the place where the Torkal went. Luc had no other choice to fallow. Plus, he may get to find something to fight. Ash 'activated' his aura so he could get a good 'view' of the pokemon and people around the area. He had his eyes closed, but was still walking as if they were opened. Luc fallowed suit. He was better with aura.

"Ok, lets see what is around there."</sub>

[Hamboy]

Before the pair, two Vulpix appeared. They snarled.

"Ah' suggest you turn back an' stop botherin' Mr Magma here." The first one said.

"Yea." The second one added. "He's our man, and if you wanna stalk him, you go though us first."

<sub><We aren't stalking him, we are helping him, and I doubt that you two can hurt us.>
"Luc, play nice. Listen Vulpix's, we are looking for a mother Torkal. have you seen her around, per-chance?"
<I still think we should own them real fast.>

Lucario's last comment was under his breath, and was not meant to be heard. The duo kept fallowing the Magmar. As a precaution in case they chose to attack, Ash took out Lillian's pokeball. Who better to fight fire than water, of course Luc new a ground move, and that would also deal some serious damage on anyone.</sub>

[Hamboy]

"Sorry hun' that's not for us to know."

"Yeah only Magsey knows where to hunt his quarry. He's so chamin'."

"Yeah, he certainly is one hunk of a Pokemon."

The two Vulpix then swooned. Then one of them spoke to Ash. "If you try catching him, or attacking him, then you have us to deal with. So we're going too."

<sub><I'm sure a couple of Vulpix's wouldn't be able to hurt us but hardly. Me and Ash, we are an unstoppable team.>
"If you wanna come too, then go for it. And besides, the Magmar said he might join us. How would one of you like to team up with us?"

It was a simple question, and Ash now thought the two pokemon may take it the wrong way. If they did, then their loss.</sub>

"If Magsey himself agrees, then fine. But he's a free spirit, so don't try forcin' him. And if he agrees to come with ya', then we will too. But if you try fightin' against his will, then we'll fight ya'. Got it?"

<sub>"Relax. We wont do anything to rash, ok?"

Ash smiled. Luc ran ahead to walk next to the Magmar. He looked anxious to have him. This brought another smile to Ash's face.</sub>

The Vulpix looked at Luc with shock.

"Listen hun', if you swing that way, there's nothing wrong with that. But Magsey is our man, so don't you dare hit on him!"

[Xenos]

(Sorry, forget about this one for a while)

" Umm, would you mind being a little quieter? I'm tracking here you know"? Magmar grabbed some dirt and sniffed it, he then looked around a bit.
" My guess is the Ghost Torkal went South, and she stopped along the way to chat with an Onix of great power....This way". Magmar headed towards a decline, below Lava could be seen flowing around, while a little path went straight through.

<sub>Ash walked faster, catching up to Lucario and the Magmar. Heh, some Vulpix's trying to intimidate him. He was surrounded by fire pokemon, but he had a powerful water pokemon, plus Luc knew a strong ground move.

<How can you tell just by sniffing the dirt? I couldn't even tell that by using aura.></sub>

Magmar continued walking, but spoke to Luc anyways. " It's from years of experience, training, and having lived within' the harsh climates here". He hopped over some lava that had turned up on the trail, and continued. " Since you've never lived here and part Steel, you're not exactly going to know much, let alone sense anything".

<sub><We can sense things just fine. In fact, we can sense better than you, but you are a better tracker than us, well, at looking for lost pokemon. Being steel has nothing to do with it. I can easily take out a fire pokemon with no setbacks.>

Luc seemed to become angry at that comment. He flexed his paws, making a small fist. he could tear that Magmar if he wanted to, but they were part of a team right now, and he couldn't fight him. He would wait.</sub>

The Magmar stopped, looked at Lucario with a blank stare, and shrugged. " Whatever you say".
As the group continued forwards, the Lava at their sides began bubbling suddenly. Magmar quickened his pace, giving a signal for the others to do so as well.
