Darkaan once again came up to the lapras shrine out of breath. Once again he put the money ($250) and made the same request last time as he released his spearow and larvitar...

This time, nothing could be seen or felt, but Tyranitar grew three levels, while Fearow grew two.

(How do the trainers at all know what level there pokemon are? Pokedex?)
They all looked at eachother confused. "Um... Do you guys feel any different?" "No." They said together.
"Oh... Thanks Lapras... for trying or whatever you did." Said a confused trainer. He scratched his blonde hair in confusion as Thundigar and Fearow waddled and flew after him.

Brandon walked into the Shrine once again, this time with no emotion seeming to flow from him.
"Here we are again, well, same as last time."
Brandon reached for his wallet, this time pulling out $1000.
"Lapris, i am giving a large amout because Ihave a large request. Is it possible that you could make my Eevee, Sly, grow a fair ammount of levels? He is really lacking in the strenght department. Please?"

Breeder Herald skipped joyfully up to the shrine.
He placed a gold nugget in the offering as his Houndoom watched off to the side.
"I'm a pokemon breeder Lapras! I wish for a Kecleon, Ditto and Glalie for my (Dark) Acerbus Breeding Farm!"

Darkaan bolted up to the Lapras Shrine... "If I only had a bike!" He thought out loud- huffing and puffing. Once again he followed the same procedure religiously. He released Tyranitar and Fearow. He put in $250, and wished with all his heart for them to grow some more...

Zeki approached the Shrine, her head bowed reverently, and her Meovee clasped in her arms. As always, Stormsong the Shiny Lugia was right behind her Mamma Zeki. The two breeders and the lone trainer, lest they should cast unwanted glances at her Lugia, and then set a small portion of food at the foot of the Shrine.
"Dearest Lapras, could you grant Stormsong some levels? I wish to attempt to battle with her at the gym, in Shellau town. I know it isn't much, but take this food, and with it the love of me and my companions."

Stormsong grew four levels as a wave rippled through the usually calm lake.

The walls of the lapras shrine sung to Darkaan. "Only through random events may you find, The luxury ball. Or if you are kind To pokemon breeders, they might sell them to you. But seeing your gift, I'll give you two!" Two luxury balls materialised in front of Darkaan.

Darkaan swooped from the sky on the back of his fearow. He approached the shrine and lay down $500.
"I wish for a firestone, beautiful lapras. I know they are rare... but one day I want to have a fire arcanine."

A gentle voice was carried on a gentle breeze through the lapras shrine:
This stone of fire Is a trainer's desire As this item of earth Costs more then it's worth. If you offer me more Then thy stone could be yours...

Darkaan approached and winced as he put in $250. His conservative nature was kicking in. This time Fearow pecked him. "Yowch!" <Your always stingy with your money Darkaan!> "Yeah! That's so I can support all you guys when you grow bigger!" <Consider the Lapras' offer, Darkaan.> Fearow squawked. <How can you consider getting an arcanine if you can't get your hands on a fire stone again in all of Kantex? Face it. If you want an arcanine, show how much you want it by giving what you normally won't.> "Sometime's I wonder if I ever should pass on knowledge to you lot." Darkaan grumbled. He quickly changed his attitude of resentment. He focussed on serving the lapras and having his desires for an arcanine. He dug deep and pulled out another $250. 'That's one offering! $1000!' he thought, holding his breath.

The air suddenly became very still as a thin vapour fell from the roof of the shrine. As it fell to the floor a reflection of Darkaan and Fearow reflected from the mirrory vapour.
His vapour reflection moved and pocketed something. As it did so, Darkaan's pocket got heavy. A firestone was in his pocket!

"Allright!" <Squawk!> Darkaan pulled out the firestone from his pocket and somehow attatched it around his necklace with the other elemental stones.
"Thankyou lapras for your kindness! And thanks Fearow for your guidance..."
