Dan entered the Centre with a small frown. He hadn't been counting on fighting someone that strong that soon. He looked down at the Two Pokeballs at his waist and grinned. He'd be strong soon enough though.
Walking up to the front desk, Dan grinned as he handed his two Pokeballs over. " Need these fixed up please".

"Sure." the man handed back the pokeballs and yawned. He was wearing a Dragonite medallion and had a Dragonite shirt on. 'Sorry, Nurse Joy's got Pokerus. She'll be back soon."

"That was very careless of you Charlie, fainting two of your pokemon like that."
Nicholas and Charlie strolled into the Pokemon Centre, with the intent of healing their pokemon and perhaps eating something before they left for Shellau.
"Last time I checked, it was you and not me," Charlie replied, not really listening.
"Well, yes, they were my pokemon, but you were the one battling with them. I mean really! I'd expect you to know better than to fight against a pokemon four times stronger than your own," Nicholas sniffed.
Knowing that this was not the truth, but not really caring that Nicholas was bending it, Charlie ignored him.
"Furthermore, because you fainted them, you can heal them while I go find something for me to eat. Goodbye." Nicholas handed Charlie two pokeballs before wandering off in search of vending machines.
Charlie sighed, and strolled over to the desk. Pulling out his own pokemon, he said, "Hi, can I get my pokemon healed?"

Sander glared at them, and then smiled in a sickly way. "Of course."
Another Sander came up behind them. "Excuse me. You dropped your"
There was another Sander on the sofa, listening to music.
"Here you go, the first Sander said."

Charlie's eyes widened. "Uh, we were, I mean, I, what are you doing here? I don't want to be rude, but don't you have a massive research laboratory supported by the government to attend to? I mean, won't they cut funds if they find you're not there?"
Glancing toward the vending machines, he added quickly, "Please don't mess with Nicholas again. I am a foolish person who signed a contract that garunteed a large sum of money which is now gone, meaning that I can't necessarily back out of anything, nor can I switch places via quantam mechanics or whatever. So please, don't kill him."
Nicholas, being especially unhelpful, yelled, "There's only trash in this vending machine! Can't we get some real food? Like steak?"

"I don't know what you're talking about." Sander said innocently.
He laughed, and then put one hand on Charlie's shoulder. "M'boy. I don't want to kill him. Much as it pains me, I need your help. I need you to collect a specimen for me to research. Can you go to Paradise Island and collect a Figy Tree Root?. I'll arrange for all your travel. Bring it back as soon as possible. I'm close to developing a cure for PokeFlu."
Sander nodded, and then handed Charlie two tickets for the S.S. Paradisa, docking from Shellau that day. He then vanished, dispelling the illusion of his appearance.
