"OK. Prove it! And don't say friendship, because that takes forever to form. When eevee evolve into umbreon or espeon, they forget about what happened to them previously! So when these eevee evolve, they'll forget they ever were harmed!"
He looked hard at Karana. "Come on! Show me!"

Karana walked over to one of the Eevees. "Hello, little guy" she said. "You seen to have a few patches of dead skin" she noticed. "Want me to get rid of them so that they don't harden? They're very painful to remove once they get hard" Karana smiled gently.

"Wow! You're really making it evolve!" Herald said annoyed with her character. "You may as well stop wasting time and help set up." He said enthusiastically.
He walked over to a bare desk against her wall and placed down the crate.
"This is the sandpaper you use, up and down their skin. Then you use this..." he pulled out a huge flask. "Sunstone or moonstone liquid on their exposed flesh or blood!"

Karana gentle pulled some dead skin off of the Eevee and set it into a bag. "There. I can test on this. It has the same DNA as normal skin" Karana said, setting the bag down.

"Yep! Thats how you can do it too. These are some umbreon and espeon hides they managed to evolve last week but it didn't work on the eevee itself so..." Herald trailed off.
"Well I'll leave you to it! Hope you succeed with a break-thru! I'll be off now. Visit me and tell me of your progress." Herald said, with that he was off. He vanished before her eyes... again!
"Yes! I think I've mastered it." He could be heard as he left Karana by herself.

Karana turned to the Eevees. "Don't worry. I won't hurt you like he did" Karana assured them. She picked up a laptop and typed in some coding, creating a new program...

The boy walked into Animus. What a strange place. He instantly felt the power of the minds in the room. Dylan began to walk more slowly. It seemed like a lot of things were towering over him these days. But, he wasn't used to this in a mental sense. Perhaps it would be better for hime to just leave. But then again, he had always wanted to try training a psychic type pokemon. People had told him that only psychics themselves could earn a psychic-type's trust. Of course, that only made Dyl want to at least try. And now, he had a great deal of time on his hands. Perhaps an Abra. That would be the traditional choice. If the egg was $150, the pokemon couldn't be that expensive.
"Excuse me," Dylan said, "I was wondering if I could get an Abra, and uh, maybe an Eevee as well." The Eevee was extra. When he saw Jai, he wanted to bring her something. If she was in the hospital, she'd need something to cheer her up. Perhaps an Eevee would be just the thing. It was in that moment that he realized that he didn't know his sister at all. Not even what kind of pokemon to get her. But girls liked cute pokemon, right? But Jai wasn't like other girls. She was... Dyl frowned. He couldn't remember. "An Eevee egg." If it wasn't the right thing, at least it wasn't- well, he'd have some time to think of it.

An Alakazam came, with an egg in it's hand. < That's §1000 for an eevee egg > it said, < Will that be an abra egg too? >

"Okay," Dylan said, handing over $1000 for the egg, "And I'd like a hatched Abra, if you have one, that is." He tried to smile, but his mind was reeling. A psychic pokemon. That would mean...a flurry of thoughts attacked the boy's mind. How much did these pokemon already know? Dylan forced himself not to run.

"Between the levels of 10 and 15 would be preferable," Dyl said, immediately wondering if it would be wiser to go with something a bit lower. Abras just took so long to train; any extra levels would be helpful.

<Ah! We have two fine young boys. One is at level 13, and another at level 15. The one at level 13 is weaker, but we've bred in egg moves, so he's more expensive than a normal level 13 abra. The level 15 one, however, has a great personality, and is Shiny! You can take your pick, trainer...>

"Um," Dyl said, "I'll take both of them." Typical impulsive. No, not really. Normally, Dyl would have no problem with figuring out what pokemon he wanted. Under the circumstances, the fact that the pokemon might be able to tell something about him that he wasn't directly telling him was making him tense. He just couldn't think straight. The boy had to breathe. Just breathe. "Wait, just the level fifteen one." It was shiny. But that wasn't the important thing. A good personality. Dyl hadn't had much luck with that lately. And that's what he needed.

OoC: You do realise it's going to evolve the second it levels up, right? BiC: <Yessir!> said the Alakazam. It teleported away, and returned with the pokeball, floating in the air. It gently fell into Dyl's hand. <You seem like a good trainer, so I'll throw in the TM move Return free of charge! Altogether, that comes to §1150, thank you very much,>Level: 15 Name: - Gender: - Species: Abra Moves: Teleport, Return Persona: Charming Ability: Synchronize

He handed the pokemon the required money. "Thank you," Dylan said, taking the pokeball which contained his new Abra. It felt strangely lighter than the pokeballs he was used to carrying. He released his new pokemon. "Uh, hi."
^So, you are to be my new trainer?^ He felt the Abra's thoughts cut into his own, a new voice to join those already there. He felt as though he was being searched, similar to when he had been sent to the police station back in Hoenn. Only nothing was touching him, at least not in a physical sense. ^Mmm...satisfactory, satisfactory. But you have never worked with a psychic type before? Yes. I can feel your fear. But it is not I who you fear. What is it? Ah well. All will be brought to light eventually.^
"Yeah, I guess that's that," Dylan said.
^That, is indeed that,^ the Abra's thoughts once more entered his trainer's mind, ^but now what?^
"Could you teleport us out of here?"
^You know, you don't have to speak.^
Then, they were both gone.

"<Yes we do, but they are quite expensive! They are all over level twenty five and are worth over $5000. But if you want you can buy an eevee egg for cheaper.>"
Nero walked in. He'd heard that at the Acerbus Breeding Farm it was possible to buy Umbreon at level 25+ for over §5000. He'd never been much interested in Umbreon, but Espeon's another story. And he figured that they'd be the same, right?
"Hello? I'd like to buy an Espeon."

The Breeder looked to Nero. "We do have Espion here, yes. But they cost over $5000, so I hope you have a lot of cash on you. Eggs are always cheaper."

The breeder smiled. "Sure. We have a few in the back gardens, but they're in meditation right now, so try to stay quiet." She led Nero to the back, where about five Espion were sat up, with their eyes closed in deep meditation.

Nero's heart skipped a beat. They were beautiful. "Do you mind if I join them? Ninurta always taught me to join psychic pokemon in meditation to get in tune with them..."
Nero's heart skipped a beat....But this time it was the mere mention of Nin's name.
He sat in the center of the circle. He closed his eyes, and let go of all of his thoughts. Letting his mind wander in silent precision...

The breeder joined Nero in meditation, and soon the sheer force of psychic power in the area had caused small rocks and garden ornaments to float a short distance above the ground.
A few minutes later, the meditation had ended, and the floating objects had returned to their original positions. The breeder spoke up. "I have to feed them before we can negotiate any sort of deal. You're welcome to watch them."

"Oh! Can I? I'm seriously thinking of becoming an Espeon Keeper when I retire. I'd love to watch!"
Nero was like a pokemon trainer in a espeon plushie factory. And apart from the plushies...
He was.

The breeder smiled, as she moved into the kitchen. The Espeon followed, and all sat before a number of boles. The breeder put within each bole a mix of different fruit, and a small piece of cake at the side. She turned to Nero.
"They like the cake, but the fruit is better for them. So I try to give them some of both."

The Espeon finished their food, then turned around, and spotted Nero. The breeder smiled again.
"Right." She said. "It's time for you to choose your Espeon, and them we can start negotiating a deal. They're all around the same level, so I guess it's just up to your intuition."
