Neo held on tighter as the legend flew towards the Plaza. He didn't recognize it at first, but soon realized what it was when the pokemon began his descent towards it.
The boy watched anxiously at the people below. So far, he had only come into contact with pokemon since his arrival at Kantex. Hopefully they would at least speak the same language. Either way, the pokemon could translate, since their language seemed to be universal.

A few people darted away as the latios landed. People gathered amazing on their faces as they stared at the rare shiny legend.
<I can't be here much longer, but a magcargo should meet with you soon to welcome you to the Plaza. Here's your starters pack and enjoy antex... Wherever you're from.> Said Garin, handing over the starters pack.
<That starters pack should help pay for your nights here.> He said. The sheer size of the latios overshadowed a group of school kids as they came closer to try and pet him. Garin rolled his eyes.
"Is this your pokemon?" A pretty-faced girl asked Neo. "He's really cool!" Garin puffed up his chest, full of pride.

Neo nodded, though he didn't know exactly what a Magcargo was. Apparently it was some type of pokemon, or the name of a person. Neo took the starter's pack from Garin and slung it over his back before dismounting.
The teen found it hard to find the words to answer the girl's question, not so much because of her beauty, but because speech wasn't his forte. "Uh, yeah, no, I mean, he belongs to..." Neo's voice drifted off. What was her name? Bass? Lass? Tass? Kass? Yeah. That was it. "Professor Kass." Neo's eyes drifted from the girl to the school kids. He liked kids. Simplicity was nice. What he would give to be one of them! When you're a kid, everything is laid out for you plainly, and disagreements solve themselves as easy as they begin. At least kids didn't have to make any decisions that could be the difference between life and death.

"Oh really? It's a shame he's not yours!" The girl said. The kids were really excited as Garin let them pet him. "Wow! So cool! I wish I could ride one!" "I wish I could own one!" Garin, even though he enjoyed the compliments, pulled away from the kids. Being owned? Ugh! That is not the relationship he would want to have with any person! Kass didn't own him! Kass loved and honoured him!
<See you Neo. Hope you settle down all right.> He said. Garin was preparing to take off. The kids moved on talking excitedly as a magcargo with a dark blue securuty cap pulled up behind Neo.

"Yeah," Neo said absentmindedly, though it was unclear to whom he was talking to. His gaze darted towards Garin as the great pokemon took off. The boy nodded in reply to the pokemon's words, then turned to Magcargo. Though he hadn't know what one was when Garin had mentioned it, there was no doubt in his mind at this moment that this was the pokemon he was looking for. He waved at Garin, then turned his full attention to the approaching pokemon. Neo didn't know what to say, so he stood there, saying nothing at all.

The magcargo was quite big. Quite big in fact, that when it finally got to him, it stared him right in the face, it's hot blubber-cheeks wobbling and releasing vast quantities of heat.
It said nothing.

A wave of heat hit Neo as the Magcargo approached. He shielded his face with one arm, as if that could help stop the heat. When it had finally stopped moving, Neo realized that the pokemon was a lot bigger than he had expected. If it weren't for the fact that he had just been exposed to a much bigger pokemon, the teen might have disappeared into the shadows and continued to run. But after Garin, this pokemon didn't seem half as scary as he might have. "Is this the Pokemon Plaza?" Neo finally asked, unable to come up with a more suitable question.

The magcargo seemed to carry a snobby attitude as it nodded "yes" to Neos answer. <Follow me.> It finally said in a poncy voice. It slowly turned around and slugged off towards the lodge. The giant plaza with its golden doorways, huge ancient looking pillars, classy steel framed windows and neon lights loomed above excitedly and brilliantly at Neo.

Neo glanced around before hurrying to follow the Magcargo. Neo couldn't help but show his shock when he entered the Plaza. He had never seen anything like it, something so spectacular. Where he lived, everything had a practical use. Metallic, pillar-like buildings had been a commonplace. Now, everything he saw put him in awe. Flashing lights, meant only for decoration; the boy stopped for a moment to admire them, only to have to run to catch up with his pokemon host.

Inside the building was marble staircases and benches. Mahogany casing, desks, chairs and tables. Golden and silver benches and banisters. Diamond chandeliers. Waiters and staff dressed very appropriately were zooming passed with trays and iron-pressed clothes for guests. One Kantex Celebrity stood to the left of Neo being interviewed by a TV crew.
The magcargo led Neo to the counter where it marked off Neo being under Kass' name and then led him to the elevator. The magcargo showed a sign of nervousness as it breathed in deeply and embraced itself as it slightly lifted itself over the crack in the floor to get into the elevator. It pressed 'Floor 45' and the doors closed.

Neo had to force himself to keep walking. Everything was so new and shiny. He made note of the large crowd of people and was surprised to realize that they were watching a couple of guys talking into a mic instead of some sort of fight.
He watched the Magcargo mark something on a sheet of paper, though he couldn't read what. Even if he had been closer, the marks on the paper would have remained a mystery to the teen.
When they stepped into the elevator, Neo began to feel slightly clostrophobic. Even more so when the thing began to go up and up seemingly with no end. Even he understood numbers. And forty-five was a long ways up if he understood correctly. He steadied himself, holding onto one side of the box.

DING! The elevator opened and they found themselves going down a lovely deep red hall. Expensive but classy lights made from transparent shell eminated beautiful light throughout the hall. They were on the walls. It made the place surreally royale!
They past a togetic who just finished cleaning a room. It was singing happily.

Neo was more than a little relieved when their prison was finally opened at the ding of a bell. The hall seemed even more monsterous now. The sheer red-ness of it all made him feel suddenly small and he wanted to run. But the teen had nowhere to run, now that the door to the elevator had closed. So he forced himself onward. Then, what was that? Singing? A pokemon singing? He had to look twice before he believed it, and even then, it seemed more of a fantasy than anything. The singer seemed hardly like the beasts of work Neo had been familiar with until just a couple of days ago.

(Ooc: What you planning on doing now roleplaying?)
<Here is your room!> The magcargo finally spoke. It bumped open the door. It clapped it's saggy cheeks together twice and a light turned on to reveal the five star accomodation room: 45 inch screen plasma TV... DVD library... A Wii console... Beanbag seats and comfy couches... Pool table... Mini bar... Kitchen... Balcony... Sauna... Waterbed... Everything that Neo could want to feel indulged, secure and comfy. <Room service is free. Call us on *10* for room service so that we can take your orders. And here's your key.> Said the magcargo. It took its cap off by bowing over the waterbed. Inside it was the key that tumbled onto the bed. With it's cheeks it picked up it's cap and swung it onto his head again. <You'll be safe hear.>
With that, the magcargo was off.

ooc|| Well, I suppose he shall explore the wonders of this room before going off to explore the greater Kantex. After all, he's never seen anything like it.
bic|| Neo almost dropped the key as it was handed to him. Room service ten? But the boy was far too busy examining the beautiful key to ask what that meant. He had never been entrusted with such a thing in his life. There had been no locks or keys for his old house, though he had often seen them strung around the necks of higher officials.
By the time he had memorized the demensions of the little object, the Magcargo had already left him. Neo carefully placed the key in his pocket before exploring the rest of this wonderful place. He soon ended up in the bathroom. After picking up and looking at each of the little soaps and shampoos, then replacing them in perfect order, the boy came upon a handle. Tentatively, he pushed at it, and for a while, he just squatted, staring at the amazing water making machine, which required no pump. He had only seen another a few times in his life, when he had been permitted in the city.
"An automatic bathing machine?" the teen mused as he touched his hand to the water. Then, he undressed, folding his clothes into a nice pile afterward, and climbed in. Half an hour later, he appeared out of the bathroom, three shades lighter. Fully dressed, Neo climbed on to the waterbed, momentarily forgetting his ever-present hunger. He curled up into a fetal position in one corner before falling fast asleep.

He awoke later. Suddenly, he began to feel very, very, very small. He had the idea that the room was going to eat him. The room seemed to get smaller, and smaller, and smaller, and smaller. Neo jumped off of the water bed, ignoring the fact that he was dizzy. The teen ran to the door, which was now closed, and banged on it a few times before remembering that he held the key. After a little bit of struggle, Neo managed to open the door. He then ran out into the open hallway, looking for someone to ask something, though he really didn't know what. If only he could get out of this long maze of a place. Suddenly, people didn't seem half-bad.

A tabletrolley appeared before him out of the blue. CRASH!
A pokemon gasped and attended to him. <Oh are you alright sir? So sorry! Didn't see you there!> A poor muddled clefable helped him to his feet and continued apologising. <How can I help you, sir?>

Confusion flooded the boy's face. It took him a while to figure out what had happened, and when he finally did, confusion was replaced by sheer horror. He didn't seem to hear what the Clafable had said. "Uh, sorry," he blurted out before darting away. He was quite swift after resting all day. Now, Neo glanced around until he finally found some sort of elevator. He had come from here...right? The boy began to madly press buttons, hoping that something would happen. From time to time, he glanced backwards, making sure that no one had followed him from the wreck scene. Neo was just a little paranoid...

A lovely young woman approached the elevator and hit the 'ground floor' button. She smiled sweetly. Her skin glistened and powerful perfume filled the elevator.
She had a trinkets covering her red flowing hair and big hoop earings. She had a green top and a purple dress flowing down over her feet. She had a stunning figure and there she was, looking and smiling at Neo.
<Hi! I'm Xanthe, A pokemon breeder from Eruca Breeding Farms! Are you a trainer?>
The elevator doors closed and they started descending.

The boy coughed as Xanthe entered the box-like room with him. His first instinct told him said 'poison,' willing him to run, but the large, metallic doors had already shut on him, blocking the teen's path. Neo soon found that he could breathe through the stuff even though it tickled his nose. His throat wasn't burning, so that was a good sign. After all, if the pretty lady had wanted to gas him, she wouldn't have stayed in the paradoxical moving room herself.
Now that his worries of poison gas was gone, Neo relaxed, taking in the sight of Xanthe. She was beautiful, the kind which the other men he had boarded with would have whistled at. He was busy memorizing her features, storing it away the way one might a piece of paper in a filing cabinet. That's the way that Neo's mind worked- a thousand boxes; everything had a label and a place. Of course, there was another section, which did not fit into any box, and had no label. In fact, most of the time, the boy tried to ignore its existance.
"A trainer?" Neo fingered one of the empty pokeballs which he had recieved at the lab. Is that what the crimson spheres make him? "Yes- I mean, no," he changed his answer, realizing that Pokemon must be part of the job description of trainer, and as of now, he had none.

BING! The elevetor door opened. Another red corridor stretched before them... The door slowly closed and one of the many buttons many lights Neo pressed went out to show that it's mission was fulfilled. Xanthe threw Neo a look, wondering if he was going to get off. When he didn't she continued talking to him.
<So if you're not a trainer, what's your occupation?>

Occupation, occupation, occupation... He wasn't familiar with the word. "Oh, I'm just here-" he struggled to find a word, mostly because he wasn't exactly sure what it was that he was doing, "visiting?" He ended what should have been a statement as a question. He was just visiting, wasn't he? Neo wouldn't mind staying in the large hotel; after all, it had been a plesant experience so far. "I'm sorry, I just came from a different land, and I am not fully.... understanding of your customs." He waved his hand around the elevator, as if to explain.

Xanthe looked at him, hoping not to show her signs of concern for the youn man. "Then where are you from sir and what is your dream?" Her politeness just made her more attractive.
BING! The door opened again only to reveal another red corridor.

"I am from," Neo said, fingering th cloth which served as an eye patch, "from a very faraway place." What was the use of telling of an island nation which was so cut off from the rest of the world that Neo had been unaware that there was a rest of the world until recently? "And I am here to, uh, find political asylum. And to live until I die." The teen glanced at his wrist, at the watch which wasn't there, as if it could tell him the time of his death. Though he had found Kantex to be a comforting place so far, he wasn't naive enough to believe that it would last.

Xanthe eyed him, uncertain of his character and his choice of floor. "Is this your floor?" By the time she finished her question, the elevator door was closing. Down they continued to go. She found his presence hard to bear. "Well. If you're looking for work, you can help me with work on Eruca Breeding Farm. I've bread quite an arrangement of flower pokemon up there. I would love more hands! The pay is good and you can stay up there for free."
