The girl sat on the sand, watching the sun as it slowly approached the water. Soon, it would disappear. But for now, it painted the skies with an incredible array of dyes that only nature could put into being. Blues and purples, pinks and yellows. Jai leaned back further, allowing the tips of her hair to tickle the sand. A particularly large wave washed up onto shore and the water greeted her toes. The girl quickly pulled back her feet before laughing to herself. Two Umbreons played nearby to her. The lighter one pounced on the darker, then flew away before his friend could retaliate. Another pokemon, a darkly colored Ponyta seemed to be enjoying herself, running a good distance away from the water. ooc||Now here's a different side of Jai...

Suddenly a Krabby sauntered near Jai. It stared there staring for the longest time, just blinking its souless eyes.

The girl slowly reached her hand out to the Krabby. Possibly not the smartest thing to do, seeing as it had claws. "Hey little guy? You hungry?" There was something about the way that it stared at her.
Kuran paused his game and watched the Krabby carefully. He wasn't about to lose another trainer. He walked silently closer, eyes rested on the other pokemon. If it tried anything funny, the Umbreon was ready to attack.

The Krabby suddenly did an Exorcist head spin and stared at the Umbreon. " You look good enough to eat.....".

That was enough to set Kuran off. The pokemon stood completely still, allowing the psychic energy to build in front of him for a short time before releasing it on the Krabby.
"Woah," Jai said. That seemed a bit uncalled for.
Meanwhile, Fear had joined the two, and was now watching, not sure whether he should join the fray. Dez kept her distance.

((Woah! That's like the third pokemon that's tried to eat someone here.! Yikes!))
The Krabby stepped back. It shook off the psychic energy. "glorkshcpokkeggusjy! Krabby underlings, Attickificate!"
A swarm of Krabby's appeared from under the sand, grabbed on to the legs of Jai's various pokemon, and began pulling them into the sand.

The Ponyta cried out in pain, stomping away at the annoying little beasts under her. Fear flew upwards and landed on his trainer's head, the brave little soul. But Kuran seemed far too intent on destroying the other Krabby to care that he was being pulled under. He focused on attacking it with yet another Psychic attack, paying no mind to the fact that the first had failed.
Jai was sent into trainer mode and threw two more pokeballs. Viper and Blade came out of their balls.
"Viper, poison sting, Blade, absorb!" the girl ordered. Meanwhile, she returned Dez to her pokeball, not wanting to risk the weaker fire type's life so close to the ocean.
ooc|| Yar...Kantex seems to have an invasion of...eh, ewwy pokemon.

OoC|| No, seriously though. Nova and her pokemon were almost eaten by Huntail and Kingler, and I was attacked by Octillery and Sharpedo, and now you've got a Krabby Army. Darn our vivacious good looks!
-
The Psychic sent the Krabby flying far away. There was a flock of wingull taking to the air, when he hit paradise island a good three miles away.
Unfortunately, Kuran was now pulled under completely, landing in an underground tunnel system. [/sub][/center]

ooc|| That's one way to put it. xD

Jai sighed in relief when she realized the pokemon had been shot to oblivion. At least now she could finally enjoy the sunset with her pokemon. She glanced around, taking a head-count in her mind, and returning her pokemon as she saw them. She was left one short and soon realized that Kuran was missing. Oh dear. He had probably hit himself with the psychic attack...again. The girl re-released her Mightyena.
"See if you can sniff out Kuran," she said. Nose to the ground, the wolf-like pokemon walked around the area, eventually landing on the exact spot where the Umbreon had been.
---
Meanwhile, Kuran had found himself in an underground tunnel. Fortunately, the pokemon didn't mind the dark, being a dark pokemon himself. But it was rather strange down there. Stuffy- not the best place to breathe.

OoC//Implicative much?// Unfortunately, Jai and her Mightyena fell into the tunnel system too, albeit in a very different area. -- Far away, there was a rumbling...

Jai found herself below ground. Granted, she had become accustomed to the dark back when she used to run with, the wrong crowd, shall we say. However, it had been quite some time since she had spent any extended amount of time underground. Jai wrapped her arms around Hunter's neck. Though neither could see well in the dark, the Mightyena could smell.
"Seems to be some sort of tunnel system," Jai said, "Let's check it out." Jai's curiosity had gotten the better of her yet again. The girl was actually excited to be down there.
---
Kuran's ears perked when he heard the rumbling. The pokemon crouched down, ready to leap in any direction if necessary.

there was little to smell, but a rumbling began to get louder. -
A huge flood of water came roaring towards Kuran.

The Mightyena continued, nose still pressed to the ground. Jai closed her eyes and relaxed, allowing Hunter to pull her along. There was something peaceful about the darkness.
---
Kuran would have to disagree. The poor Umbreon saw the water coming his way and instinct took over. The pokemon bolted in the other direction.
