Name
Ryuuko Enigima
Nickname(s)
Ry, Ryuu
Age
17
Appearance
Ryuuko's hair is light blue. It could be described as a slight purple, but very slight. So, a light blue, tinged with a slight bit of purple. It is mainly loose, with two braids on the left side, one over and the other behind her ears. Two strands fall in from of her ears, one on either side, and her bangs are longest above her nose. Very little is covering her eyes, which are a pale purple, seeming to be without pupils. Her skin is mostly pale, though it has a slight, almost unseen tan. She wears clothes that could be considered old fashioned, but she doesn't seem to care. Her shirt and pants are each a deep shade of purple, as well as her gloves, covering from a bit above her elbows to her wrist, and along the back of her hand to her fingers. Over this she wears a forest-green hooded cloak, with purple fabric over her shoulders, the fasteners holding the purple fabric to the green golden, with black stones set into them. A red jewel hangs down from the lower fastener. She has gold earrings with a red jewel of the same kind set in them as well.
Personality
Ry is withdrawn mostly, a cold exterior hiding a kind heart, probably due to what happened with her family's pokemon when she was younger. A kind enough person, she just doesn't like to talk, though get to know her and you've found a very sweet person. Around other people she doesn't know, she can snap, and be just unkind, though get her with friends, and she is very open and polite.
History
Ryuu had a normal childhood basically; two loving parents and an annoying brother. Both of her parents, though, were Breeders, so though she had no interest in being one herself, she was around pokemon her entire childhood. As she got older, she helped her parents, though she never seemed to get close to the pokemon, after what happened when she was seven. She and her elder brother by around six years had been working with Ponyta and Rapidash that her parents raised, feeding them and making sure the fenced-in area was free of anything they could trip on. Something startled the horse-like fire-types, causing them to start to run.
Her brother James had been out of the way, but she was right in the path of the main band, getting knocked down and nearly trampled. Though she wasn't badly hurt, she began to fear all but the smallest of pokemon, so she only worked with the newly hatched pokemon, or smaller species. If a pokemon stood taller at its shoulder than her waist, she would avoid it from pure fear. Somehow, however, she managed to stay calm around even the largest of water-types, and both Houndour and Growlithe, as well as their evolutions.
Eventually, her parents decided that to help her get over her fear, they would make her become a trainer. Though she really didn't want to, she did so to please her parents, and that was how she ended up at the Kantex Region Laboratory, to receive her starter pokemon.
