[new picture coming]
Name: Marco Thomas
Age: 16 (11/5/92)
Gender: Male
Appearance: Marco could be described as a stick. Once can practically see his bones straight through his skin. Though for most of his life, he was well below average in the height category, he was recently hit with a growth spirt, and towers over most people at the height of 5 ft 11. His typical attire consists of a white tank top, khaki pants, and navy flip-flops. The pockets of his pants are full up of different types of medicine, some for himself, and others for his pokemon (well, mostly for himself, but we'll get too that later.)
Info: Marco is reluctant to try new activities since he is prone to injuries, as well as just about every sickness out there. At first, he wasn't all that keen on the idea of training pokemon, however, since, he has grown to love his little monsters (though he is allergic to most, and has to take extra meds for this.) He is pretty laid back so long as he's not in a dangerous situation (which seems to happen quite often to poor Marco) in which case he is prone to panic attacks. Aside from being allergic to nearly everything, Marco is also a hemophiliac, which means that his blood doesn't clot on its own.
History: Marco grew up in a middle class suburban area. His dad left when he was three, and Marco has no recollection of him. His mom refuses to talk about this, so Marco is unsure whether he is even alive. Ms. Thomas worked long hours during Marco's youth. Being a single parent with minimal health coverage can be tough when your only son is allergic to the air he breathes (well, maybe that's an exaggeration.)
Marco's childhood was relatively lonely. The other kids avoided him for the most part, afraid that they might catch his "cooties." This gave him time to develop his interests in other individual activities. By the time his elementary years had slipped away, Marco had reruns of many old TV shows memorized, as well as an incredible knowledge of how computers work. Unfortunately, Marco's health was declining, and none of the usual medications seemed to help. As a last resort, the doctors suggested that he go and train pokemon. This was something that had never interested the boy, but at the age of 13 and a half, he left the house to train.
