It was getting late, the sun setting already starting to set. Most people would have already ate, and probably getting ready for bed real early, doing extra stuff before hitting the sack, or planing the party. But for some people like a person waiting to start as a trainer, Mac, they had places to go to.
Slunk on his back was a dark blue bag, already filled with stuff for his traveling to come. He walked up the road toward the Laboratory that was popular for starting trainers, usually where most get their starting Pokemon.
When Mac arrived, he walked up to the front door, knocking on it and waiting for someone to respond, not wanting to show rudeness to someone who was going to help.

Suprisingly, it was a pokemon who answered - a beautiful Ninetails painted in all the colours in the rainbow. She waited, as if for a response from the new trainer.

"Huh?" Mac muttered as the door open but it wasn't a human there, "Oh."
He looked at the Ninetales for a moment, admiring its beauty before asking, wondering if perhaps the Ninetales understood, "May I come in?"

The Ninetails bowed her head, before motioning for him to enter.
"Ni ni."
To those who understood, she said;
<Please, enter.>

Although Mac didn't understand what the Ninetales said, her movement suggested something around the lines, "Come on in."
Mac did so without hesitation, he didn't plan on staying long, just doing what he needed to do and get out of the way.

The Ninetails disappeared for a moment, heading towards some strange sounds. Before she came back with an equally strange creature. It was like a cross of a Lapras and an Espeon. The Esperas bowed her head, before talking. Well not really talking.
I'm sorry, you'll have to excuse the mess and noise. I am Ladoras. How may I help you? [/i]

Mac was a little shocked by the new Pokemon, never really seeing one before. But he quickly answered the question, already planned out before he even got there, "I'm here to get a starting Pokemon." He tried to pull off a relax face, but it ended up looking semi-serious, showing his real side.

Ladoras nodded, as if this was no surprise to her.
That is what I expected. Aurora, you may go back to the Professor.
She said, shooing the beautiful coloured ninetails away. The Esperas waved her forked tail, and turned her gaze back to Mac.
Which pokemon would you request of me then?

"Hm," Mac thought, he actually thought about it a long time but couldn't really decide. He wanted one that wouldn't really fear him, maybe understand his point of view, but he didn't want one that would be extremely violent, even Mac had moments of peace within him, sometimes. "Well," his mind narrowing down to a few, now two sticking out the most, "Would perhaps a Dratini or a Bagon be out of the question?"
The two were both great Pokemon, very similar to each other. If that didn't work then he could probably think of some others, maybe a Larvitar or Absol, something.

Ladoras didn't say anuthing for a second - but the red jewel that dominated her forehead flashed ominously.
They are not out of the question. The question is, can you handle them? Dragon types are tough on a new trainer.

Mac just gave a small chuckle at the advise. If they think he shouldn't have a dragon Pokemon, then he won't push anyone's buttons, just go by their advise. "I'm almost up for a random draw," he thought.
"Well then, if you don't think I should, would a Pokemon like Larvitar be fine?" was his second response to the original question.

A ball shot forward, to land at Mac's feet.
I believe this should contain a larvitar suited for you.

Mac picked up the ball, examining it. "Thank you," he said turning around to leave. He was done, and they probably had something to do, so he was going to excuse himself.

Do not forget to take one of the bags.
Ladoras said, exiting the room. She obviously meant the bags by the door there. Starter packs.
Also, more noise. Battle sounds.

"Alright then," Mac said, grabbing one of the bags, "Guess I'll be going now."
Mac didn't hear the battle noise, and he probably wouldn't care that much unless it was extremly loud, and it wasn't. He closed the door behind him, looking at the Pokeball in front of him. "Now it all begins," Mac muttered to himself.
