Jai hobbled down the dirt path after her Ekans, Viper II. It seemed like such an ideal day to start training. The sun was shining and even the grass seemed a little greener to welcome her. But Jai didn't have time to enjoy her beautiful surroundings. She was anxious to get started.

The girl stopped for a moment to catch her breath. At the same time, she began to mentally map out battle plans to use depending on the type of pokemon that would first appear. She wondered if an Ekans had been the right choice. It really didn't have an advantage over any given type that she could think of off the top of her head. But she wouldn't have traded Viper for all the pokemon in the world at that moment (okay, maybe for all the pokemon in the world, but you get my point.)

What? Route One looked horribly wrong! The tall grasses wer hacked and flattened and injured and fainted pokemon lay everywhere!

Up ahead were a bunch of trainers healing all the fainted and injred pokemon.

What a strange sight! Jai ran (or did the best she could under the circumstances) up to the other trainers. Viper beat her to them.
