Kai was still in thought, as he walked with his new Trapinch down Route One, of the stranger at the Lab. He soon shook it off. It shouldn't have been something big to keep thinking about. Besides, today was supposed to be a good day; He had his new Pokemon, he was off on his own and he was going to prove himself as a good trainer. A smile came to his face.
"C'mon Kibi, lets get going."

Eyes opening with complete surprise, Kai took a step
back, nearly stumbling over his own feet. Catching himself
in time, he regained his composure. He looked at the Caterpie
being chased by the Zigzagoon. "H-hey!," he cried out to the two, "Whats going on here!?"

The zigzagoon stopped and ran at Kai.
<TIP! YOU'RE IT!!!> It said tagging Kai and running off with the caterpie now.
Both hid behind a tree.
<You can't get us!> Said the caterpie... playfully casting a stringshot attack at Kai and their pokemon. |

"Woah!," he cried out as the Zigzagoon ran in his direction.With eyes closed, he awaited for something to happen. It was a surprise to him when he felt the touch of the Raccoon Pokemon's paw. <TIP! YOU'RE IT!!> "What in the..." "Hmm?...Thats...it? Tag is what there doing?..." Kai blinked for a few as it registered the two were just playing, not hurting each other or himself. He gave a small smile as he watched the two run behind the tree. 'This might actually be some fun,'Kai thought happily to himself. He hadn't had fun in awhile. He looked down to Kibishii, who was shot with the string-shot like he was. "Hey Kibi, Wanna play with them?" <Play?> "Yeah! C'mon!" Kai began his way over to the tree to seek the hiding Pokemon. |

The caterpie fled from behind the tree giggling. It ran to their left.
The zigzagoon stayed behind the tree. <You can't tip the butcher back!>

Kai stopped when he heard that he wasn't able to go and tag who ever tagged him. He watched the Caterpie run past them and he stopped to think. "Hmm...What, oh just what shall I do..." Kai took a glance to the tree then back to the Caterpie. "Hey...Kibi," Kai whispered to the Trapinch,"...stay near the tree...if the Zigzagoon tries anything, go for it. I'm gonna go for the other..." Kibishii shrugged and stayed near the tree.
And for the first time in a long time, Kai let out a laugh. "I'm gonna get you, Caterpie!" And with that, Kai began sprinting towards the Caterpie, gaining some speed.

It was then Kai made a dive towards the Caterpie.
Kibi then also made a move towards the Zigzagoon.
Kai then looked up from his position on the ground.

The immature pokemon squealed in delight of being chased. In their excitement they both stumbled, rolled and slammed into eachother.
<Oooofff!>
Both Kai and Kibi were able to tag the zigzagoon and caterpie! |

Kai let out a small giggle himself, panting all the same. He looked over to Kibishii, who had then made his tag. Kai grinned when he had finally made his tag. "I...got...ya...," he said in a singsong type voice, still panting slightly, but happy none the less.

The zigzagoon were hysterically giggling away rolling around on the ground. The caterpie gathered itself together first but squirmed with delight. <You two are loads of fun!> It said. <LOADS OF FUN!> The zigzagoon yelled breaking out into more insane giggles. <Are you always this fun?> The caterpie inquired as it tried not to laugh with his nutty friend. |

Kai found himself sitting up, a large smile still on his face at the two giggling Pokemon next to him and Kibishii.
"Am I always this fun?" Kai thought about that. His life had been pretty strict and he hadn't been able to have much fun. Maybe a few times, but not many. He didn't think of himself as too much of a fun guy. He couldn't say the same for Kibi, but...
"Gosh...I dunno...," he finally said, "I didn't know I was any fun."

At this, Kai's face turned a red as tears leaked out from his eyes. He then fell back and now he couldn't help himself from laughing. He continued to laugh as Kibi stared at him, giving a small laughter from watching his trainer laugh at the small word change.

Kai was holding his ribs, they hurt so hard. He tried his best to stop his laughter. "...S-sure....I...I'd...heh...have no...problem with that...You two...are...just...awesome!!!" He grinned as far as he possibly could. What a fantastic day this was.

Kai held hit stomach as he let out one more laugh. He then took two of his Pokeballs of his belt. "They're all yours, guys." With that, he gave each Pokeball a light toss to the both of the two crack-ups.

Kai then picked up the two Pokeballs and placed them on his belt. As he walked, Kai could see three different places. "Hmm...Berry forest, Breeding Farm, or Route two...Ok Kibi, you were ok with me having some fun...You go ahead and pick where we go next. Okay?" Kibishii looked to the three different roads to travel on. <Let's go to the Berry Forest...before Route Two> "Sounds good to me!," He said happily. With that, the two headed west to the Berry Forest.
