<OWCH!> One hooted as it received a critical hit! It looked weak. The other growled at Larvitar.

As the battle dragged on and continued to be irksome to Mac and Larvitar, Mac got an idea to help it just a little. Digging through his bag quickly, Mac pulled out a Pokeball and threw it at the weaker Hoothoot, if it was caught then that would just leave them with one Hoothoot to take care of.
"Come on, do it!" Mac said as the Hoothoot vanish in a flash of red light into the Pokeball.
Larvitar was already getting ready for the other Hoothoot to attack, also hopping that the other Hoothoot won't be a problem.

The hoothoot was caught!
((Stats)) Nickname: (you choose) Species: Hoothoot Gender: (You Choose) Level: 6 Attacks: Tackle, Growl Ability: Insomnia Persona: Bully
The last hoothoot was struggling to defeat Mac's larvitar but continued bouncing off it's rocky hide.

One down, and a new Pokemon, just the last Hoothoot to go! As the Hoothoot turned around to go for another go, Mac had enough of the dirty battle.
(OOC: Get ready for knockdown bonus! And I need to play a different game for once.)
As the Hoothoot started to attack again, Mac stepped in front of Larvitar and whacked the Hoothoot again, this time his wraith knocking him even harder than last time. It was that moment that Larvitar wondered who would be doing most of the fighting.

The hoothoot fainted!
Larvitar gained four levels!!!
<Thankyou for saving us!> The ratatta whimpered. All three bounded up to Mac and gave him a pineap berry each. Then they bolted for the undergrowth.
Up ahead something meeped up into the treetops...

Larvitar learned Sandstorm at level 8! "Thanks," Mac muttered as he accepted the berry. He still didn't know what they said. As the Ratatta ran off, Larvitar looked at Mac with a bit of a wanting look for the berry. "Fine," Mac muttered, "We won, so you can have it." Larvitar gave a small smile and took the berry and started to munch on it. "Well then, let's go already," Mac said after resting from the battle. If he was going to continue battling like that though, he would get into deep trouble. But as they were about to leave, they heard a meeping noise. "Please not again," Mac muttered.

(OOC: I can fix the berry problems.)
Finally noticing where the commotion was coming from, Mac gave a sigh of annoyance at the tree. If it was a Pokemon, he will only bother catching it if they wanted to without fighting. Not much else.
Larvitar himself was still hungry, he hadn't eaten anything for a while. The obvious actions was to eat the other two berries, and he did.
"Let's go Larvitar," Mac muttered as he started to leave. If whatever was in the tree really wanted them, it would have to follow them.

(Ooc: You did obtain three berries you know from each ratatta!)
Whatever meeped, also screeched and scratched. The noise was coming from a tree that was shaking violently up ahead.
A ledian flew out of the tree! But flew hard back into it and smacked something hard.
<SCREEEP!>
Something screeched. Something also started falling down the tree's branches.
With a sickening thud it landed on top of it's head. The pokemon got up and staggered onto the road. The rays of the moonlight exposed the identity of the pokemon. It was a sneasel!

Hearing even more commotion, Mac and Larvitar looked back to see what it was. As the Pokemon came on the road, they were barely surprised. "Oh, just a Sneasel," Mac muttered. He knew how rare it was to see one here, but he wasn't interested in another battle.
<"Are you okay?"> Larvitar asked, hearing the noise of the fall.

It didn't reply, it staggered off the road and into the Berry Forest.

"Okay," Mac muttered. Larvitar asked again in the dark night, but Mac just told him, "Come on, we ought to get to a Pokemon Center or something. The two then continued down the path, Mac not worried about the Sneasel but Larvitar was.
As they continued, Mac remembered the Breeders' Farms. "Maybe we can stop there are something to sleep," Mac muttered, he never been there before actually.

The light's of the breeding farms were on... They could be seen lighting up the plains out west.
The closest breeding farm was the Phantos Farms.

As they started to reach in the end, both were already getting dead tired. "Larvitar, just go to sleep in your ball," Mac said as he returned Larvitar. But Mac didn't really have much of a place to retire. Plus, he remembered that there was yet another route.
Mac reached the first few breeding farms. "I don't care if I have to buy something," Mac muttered as he gave a yawn in between, "I'm wanting to sleep."
Mac then looked at the ranches and choose a random one, Aquarius Breeding Farm. Why Aquarius? If they didn't have a place for him to rest for just a little while, they might have a bucket of water to wake him up.
