Jai returns to Route 1

<sub><Sssso, where are we going?> Viper asked.

<Route 1.... Ssssduh!> Siloam replied.

Both were curled around either of Jai's legs, making walking a little difficult to say the least. And with crutches, it was near impossible. The girl sighed. This was going to be a long journey.

Floreon had also attached herself to Jai, but in a different way. The pokemon had made her home on Jai's head, acting as a sort of hat. What had the thing said? Loyal? More like clingy.

Poochyena was leading the procession, nose up in the air, sniffing for anything that might cause the group any harm. And Jai's Ponyta? She was nestled up in her pokeball, which Jai had stashed at the bottom of her bag. Her excuse to the other pokemon had been that Ponyta was quite tired and a little skittish, but the girl had other reasons, which she wasn't about to tell them.</sub>

[Darkaan]

"Jai? Jai? JAI!" Darkaan finally found her and came running up to her.
"I saw that floreon that you took from the Lab, can I trade you for it?" Darkaan pulled out a pokeball and released a pokemon from it.

"This is Katar. He's my adorable kabuto. Do you want it for your floreon? My growlithe needs a partner, and floreon is perfect for him!"

<sub>Jai was more than a little surprised to see Darkaan again. She knew that they would meet again- she just never imagined that it would be so soon. As soon as she heard what he was saying, she gave him a funny look. She had never heard the words "Kabuto" and "adorable" used in the same sentence, and as far as she was concerned, never should. She shrugged.

<Ssssso, you're back...> Viper said, glaring at Darkaan. She still didn't trust him.

<Who'sssss he?> Siloam asked.

<Sssstroublesssss.>

Floreon yawned from on top of the girl's head, and noticed Darkaan for the first time. (She had been asleep.) The pokemon smiled, and jumped onto the boy's head, and proceeded to lick his face.

Jai laughed a little at the way the pokemon had warmed up so quickly to the other trainer. "I think she likes you. And I'll think about your offer. Could you give me a little time?"</sub>

[Darkaan]

"We'll... PM on my PokeNav..." He said tapping her Nav.
"There! That's my number! I'm real busy. I go to go!" Darkaan said turning away and running while withdrawing Nimbus.

"Oh! And if you're having trouble beating Lillian in her water gym, do NOT use electric attacks. Use grass!" He said before he surfed up into the sky of his huge, golden fearow.

<sub>ooc|| Hehehe....somebody's tired...one shouldn't 'withdraw' their pokemon before jumping on them- just not safe.

"Darkaan! WAIT!" Jai said, attempting to get the boy's attention before he swooped off. Floreon was now on the ground, calling softly to the boy as well. Jai returned her, as well as her other pokemon, to their pokeballs.</sub>

[Darkaan]

(Ooc: He with withdrew his fearow from his pokeball! Lol!)

Darkaan was going to fly to the end of this route to pick up his earlier reward from the Pokecentre... And then he was going to... WAIT!
He just realised something aweful!
He flew Jai back to the Lab and now she had no way in getting back to the Lapras Shrine! He was about to abandon her on Route 1!

He heard her call and swooped back on Nimbus
"Yeah? What is it?" He said smiling, a hint of adventure sparkling from his eyes. "Do you want a lift to Shellau Town?"

_{"Uh, yeah; that would be nice." She was happy to accept any ride; it would cut her travel time down by...a lot. "But that's not what I wanted to talk to you about. I want you to have Floreon." Jai held Floreon's pokeball out to Darkaan.}

Darkaan looked at her, dumbstruck.
"I'll try you Katar for it at least. Floreon's unique isn't it? I may as well trade you my most expensive pokemon for it!" Darkaan said quickly rummaging through his bag and holding out Katar's pokeball.

_{"No," Jai said, pushing Kajar's pokeball back and dropping Novus' pokeball into Darkaan's hands, "I don't think you understand. I want to give you this Floreon. I can't keep her...I just can't." Jai fidgeted a little, hoping that the boy would understand. She even had her hand on the ball of another pokemon, just in case she needed to make a quick get away. For some reason, that seemed like an easier option than fighting with this boy any longer.}

[Darkaan]

"... Wow!!! I mean WOW!!! This is..." He was lost for words as he accepted the floreon's ball. He gave her an empty pokeball.
"Thankyou so much Jai." He said, humbled.

"Well, yeah," Jai said, "I think I'm going back to Herald's Breeding Farm. You know, just to check on the pokemon and stuff. I mean, what are they going to do without him anyways?" Jai stared at the pokeball she was holding- the one belonging to her ponyta, then put it back, deciding that this wouldn't be the right time. She just needed more time to adjust to the fire pokemon. "So, I guess that I'll see you around."</sub>

Darkaan held the ball in his hands and looked at Jai as she walked off with her crutches and her two snake pokemon. He hardly knew that girl, but already they had gone threw a lot. His heart sank. The way she spoke to him... it sounded like he wasn't going to see her again...

He was going to collect the prize from thhe pokecentre and meet up with her at the Acerbus breeding farm.
