Banjin was walking on the Fiery Path, keeping an eye out for any Pokemon of interest. Instead of fighting Lillian, he had decided to travel around a bit more, capturing and training more Pokemon efore he challenged the Gyms.
He had heard of the different Clans that apparently lived here, and had especially interested in the Zina-die, the Clan of Dragons. He had decided to try and find them, and talk to them and see if they would allow him to, somewhat, let him join their Clan as an extra fighter, should on be required in the future.

Although Lao was on the Fiery Path, and the Ember Cliffs were in the distance, the fighting between the Hana'aiau and the Zina-die could be heard clearly. From within the cave, spectacular bursts of fire spewed forth, incinerating anything within the tunnel.
A vulpix trotted by. "I hope you're not going there. I don't think it's safe. My tribe avoids it at all costs, anyway..."

Lao looked down at the little Vulpix, and smirked. "Safe is boring."
He began to run towards the fighting, as fast as he could.

At the gate to the Ember Cliffs, a Spearow from the Sta'ary tribe fluttered down.
"I have a message for you from Anda'ai, the chieftain of our tribe. He begs you not to fuel the rage of the Hana'aiau and the Zina-die. Already, the Ember Cliffs are a warzone. The Fiery Path is just recovering from the war between the Kapa'uaua and the Torkinah-ha. How long before the war spreads to Mount Inferno, and all the tribes are forced to choose? The Kran'and-na and the Sta'ary are the most powerful of all tribes, in a way. If we were to join the fray, there would be nothing but endless destruction in fire. Is that the world you want? If you do not stop, then we, the Sta'ary tribe will have to stop you. And though we may be the least dangerous, we are also the most dangerous. If things get out of hand, we will be forced to call upon one of the deities we worship. We will call upon the almighty Moltres, who will lead us, and the almighty Aero, who will guide us. We WILL destroy you. So I beg you.
Stop.
Please."
