Without even knowing it, Darkaan and the gang stumbled upon route 5. The smeargle Darkaan just caught pranked them and now they were stumbling through the tall itchy grasses trying to find the main road through the route.
<I'm itchy!> Whined Tyranitar. <I'm scratchy!> Thundigar said flinching as he scratched his back, hard.
<I'm loving the breeze up here!> Starduster said as she flew above them, navigating the gang towards the road.
"What do you see?" Came the voice of an irritated Darkaan as he sniffed. The spores and pollens were horrible and were affecting his sinus'.
<... Lecana Village is CLOSE! Lecana Village is close!> She friid.
"ACHOOO!" <ACHWOO!> <ARPHOOO!> Both Darkaan, Thundigar and Tyranitar sneezed in reply.

Ooc: With Zeki's permission!
Something moved in Darkaan's bag. Without hesitation, he opened the bag and found the glowing black egg wriggling. Light suddenly eminated within the egg as the egg turned a stone grey. Odd.
A gurgled bark came from the egg. And the next thing that emerged from the egg was a normal looking growlithe. Darkaan pulled off his black shirt and wrapped the newborn pokemon in it. He wiped the goo off its body as he decided to start walking with it. It didn't say much but sleep on its shoulder. Larvitar wanted to hold it and Darkaan let him as they continued to follow starduster from up above.
"Wow! I have my own growlithe!" Darkaan thought excitedly. "A blessed growlithe not a cursed one!" Little did he know what was just born...

She didn't wanted to alert Darkaan so she tried to shake them off.
Below Darkaan was wondering what to call his newly born growlithe. Maybe the more he played with it, he'll understand it's character to more to name it accordingly... Darkaan picked up a stick and threw it hoping his growlithe would respond.

The hoppip were shaken off, giggling as they travelled with a new gust of wind. But this new gust of wind bought a cloud of hoppip and sunkern that engulfed the butterfree!
There pollens and spores sprinkled onto the travellers below as the butterfree was smothered by the hundreds of pokemon.

Butterfree dropped from the sky fast before she was completely smothered by the multitude of sunkern and hoppip.
<OK! As long as we go straight ahead, we'll hit Lecana.> She fri'd.
The spores and pollens made the travellers itchy and weary, not to mention irritable. The hot afternoon sun made them feel disgusting and damp.
<Can't wait to get off this route!> Moaned Tyranitar quietly, the growlithe fast asleep. They trudged onwards.

Two wild pokemon were battling! A rattata jumped past Darkaan and hyperfanged an oddish.

Darkaan leaped back as he decided not to interrupt but watch the pokemon fight...

The oddish simply used sweet scent as the rattata tried to hyperfang again... It missed as the sweet scent made it sneeze!
The oddish then simply used sleep powder on the rattata and it fell asleep. Some of the powder like spores landed on Darkaan's skin...

Darkaan suddenly felt woozy. But nevertheless approached the oddish... "Hey! That was a good battle!"

The oddish was a shy pokemon. It scampered off in embarassment at Darkaan's comment.
The hoppip and sunkern continued flying past them.

Darkaan rolled his eyes and pushed forward through the grass. Thundigar waddled ahead out of sight, but he left a trail so that Darkaan could push through the strong thick grass with ease. Tyranitar continued to nurse the baby growlithe and Starduster had much difficulty getting through the thicket due to her delicate wings.
Slowly, dusk began to settle. The sounds of hoothoot could faintly be heard as the travellers pushed on...

A huge explosion could be heard in the distance. A bunch of bird pokemon flew from the area. Rodent pokemon bolted past Darkaan as they came shooting though the tall grass, terrified of the explosion.

Being dim as he was, but excited about something finally happening, he moved faster and closer to where the explosion might have come from. The sound came from straight ahead. He was nearly there as his pokemon tried to keep up with him...

Darkaan and his pokemon finally stumbled onto the Route 5 path! A pokemon lay faint in the middle of the road.
It was a pineco.

It must of used self-destruct for some odd reason. Darkaan saw the fainted pineco and threw a pokeball at it. "Obviously it should stay in the ball..." he thought.

"Ssweet!" Yelled Darkaan excitedly. "I'll be seeing you at Lecana... pineco." He tried to think of a name on the spot but couldn't. He put into his PC pocket on his belt and it transported off...
On they went. Darkaan was talking to Tyranitar, Thundigar and Starduster about the lifestyles of the families of pineco and foretress in the natural environment. They listened with interest as they started to see tall buildings in the distant.

As the dusk settled, the sunkern became rarer and rarer. But the cool afternoon breeze continued to carry lots of hoppip.
Up ahead a raging rattata was trying to take on a paras. But a roselia was trying to calm it down.

Darkaan evaded the scenario. He just wanted to get to Lecana Village before it got too dark. He wanted a shower. He was so itchy.
They pulled off into the grass and hid themselves as they walked passed the incident. Lecana was so close...

A fearful ekans slithered away fast from them into the tall grasses...
No other wild pokemon seemed to disturb Darkaan and his pokemon.
