One of the many shrines in Kantex, the Lapras Shrine is the most visited; for although it’s patron pokemon is the least powerful, it is also the most benevolent. The shrine consists of a small pavilion floating on the edge of the lake. Surrounding it are tall stone pillars atop which burn flames, illuminating the Shrine and the Route at night, as well as providing a reference point for travellers lost on Maley Lake.
The main focus of the Lapras Shrine itself is a huge statue of Lapras, which dominates the centre of the covered area. In front of the statue is a small wooden bowl, which bears on the inside an inscription:
Offer what ye will, and wish with thine heart; And from the Lapras those with pure souls shall receive. Once per week, thou mayst approach When these words are covered; the statue shall speak, and from the whistling wind, thine desires shall come.
