Darkaan approached. His little greedy mind jumped to what he can do to profit when he saw the cheap items.
"Forget about the Rod!" He thought. "If I can just get those super-bargain items- then that rod is mine!" He found it hard to keep a straight face.
"I'd like to buy the 3 star pieces and 1 big pearl." He pulled out his $3700 and put it onto the counter.
Fearow was shocked! That was more then half their money! How was his trainer gonna keep him in luxury! He gave Darkaan a solid peck on the ear. "YOWCH!"

The shopkeeper gaped but followed Darkaan's request, placing the items into a bag and sweeping the money into a box behind the stall.
"Okay, here you are. Bye!"

He saw the man place the amulet coin calmly onto the table.
... "Don't have enough!" He thought.
... "Be right back!" Darkaan said as he bolted off. Stardust flying Tyranitar and Fearow flying after crazy Darkaan.
... "I'm back!" Said Darkaan, back as lighning. I'd like to buy that amulet coin!" His pokemon finally arrived, exhausted. "I'd also like to buy that Super Rod and that Water Stone," he said. He laid down the $10,000. Fearow was amazed with his trainers ability to buy things. Its eyes darted from Darkaan to the stallsperson.

"Of course!"
The man grinned from ear to ear and placed the requested items into a bag, carefully sweeping all $10,000 into a box and then locking it.
"Have fun with all your new items!"

... Darkaan liked this stallsman. He had a lot of cool stuff.
Darkaan thought... "If I buy those pearls I'll gain $1200 profit! And that Shell Bell will be handy gainst this towns Gym Leader! I'll buy these things now and not come back for a while... maybe."
So Darkaan once again took the opportunity to buy from the man again.
Darkaan put the money down; $2900 exact. "I'd like to buy the 4 pearls and that shell bell, thanks." Darkaan was more self-controlled this time. "I wonder what the stallsman thinks of me?"
Fearow still watched in, curious how Darkaan did his deals. Thundigar and Tyranitar were playing thumb wars and Stardust watched the two as Darkaan payed.

Carefully counting out a few bills, Phoenix appraoched the fishing stall, looking over the items with interest, her Marill, Raine, scurrying down her shoulder and onto the counter, examinging a Shell Bell with envious eyes. =Please?= Raine begged. Phoenix sighed, she didn't have that much money left, but she would always give in to her Pokemon.
She turned to the clerk. "One old rod and six shell bells please," she said, wincing lightly as she realized how expensive her order was.

Phoenix pulled out the bills and put them on the counter, picking up her items. Raine bounced happily onto Phoenix's shoulder, preoccupying herself by attempting to fasten the shell bell around her neck. Phoenix laughed and then shook her head. Well, it was finally time... time to face the gym!

Darkaan couldn't help himself but visit the fishing stall again. He arrived at the stall with his bike, Tyranitar clutching at him from behind.
He examined the items and looked at the caught pokemon. Hmmm... His eyes dazzled. He knew what he wanted to buy!
"I'd like to buy all the star piece and pearl in your fishing stall!" Darkaan said beaming at the fisherman.

"...Ok." Darkaan said. "That's a blow from my pocket." He thought.
But reluctantly he handed the money over. As he handed the money over his eyes fell on the mudkip ball... Oh was he tempted!

"Yeah. That mudkip. How rare are they to find out in the wild?"

"They're fairly rare sir, but I'm sure you can find one somewhere. I've heard of a plentiful amount up at the Rainbow Fields, of course they're all Rainbow, so that's no use for someone who wants a normal one..."

Marco walked up to the stall. He looked at all the items around him. This seemed to be quite a busy place. And yet, there was a feeling a peace that engulfed him. He looked at the long rows of pokemon and items. He examined the fishing rods especially long. He had always wanted to go fishing, but he had never gotten a chance to.
"Um," he said, "Excuse me...could I get one of those rods." He pointed to the Old Rod. "And a couple of those um net balls. And that uh, thing over there. And that lil fishy over there." Marco felt that he was stuttering. In fact, he felt like walking out right there and then.
Old Rod x1 ($50) Net ball x2 ($600) Shell bell x1 ($100) Magikarp x1 ($50)
Marco handed over $800.

"Thankyou! Nice doing business with you! Happy adventuring!" Smiled the stallsperson. They took the money, bagged the objects and handed them to Marco.
"Anything else?"
