The nurse sits behind a counter where she can heal your pokemon. She smiles ever so sweetly. Next to her is a healing machine where you yourself can heal your pokemon if you're in a hurry.
So... Do you need to heal?

Jai walked into the pokemon center after training in the arena for a while. She set all of her pokeballs into the machine, waiting for them to heal. Meanwhile, the girl wondered how the machine worked. Perhaps something with electricity that would zap life back into you Pokemon. But that wouldn't seem to work for water types. By the time she got this far in her thoughts, the machine had made the familiar ding! noise, and Jai took her pokemon back. She waved goodbye to the nurse before leaving.

Marco managed to make it to the pokemon center...finally. His pokemon were worn out from fighting, and frankly, so was he. Noticing a self-healing machine in the corner, Marco set all of his pokemon into it, and managed to figure out how it worked after quite some time. Then, he lay down on one of the couches, catching a few Zs before leaving to continue his journey.

Darkaan headed over to the self healing machine and healed his pokemon. For some reason he didn't want to stand in the queue to get his pokemon healed by the nurse.
He headed over to the PC and checked out all his pokemon he had recently caught... He was about to go into the Dayea Hill... and he needed a pokemon to learn flash... Hmm... What was a good pokemon?

"Hah!" Darkaan withdrew his magmar (Marco) and his electabuzz (Thundigar). <Hey Darkaan!> Magmar quacked. "I've got something for you guys!" <What?> Thundigar asked, intrigued, tilting his head. "This!" Darkaan pulled out the HM Flash that Glen gave him. "We need to get through Dayea Hill, and the only way we can get through it is if you guy's learn this HM. Marco and Thundigar were thrilled!
In just a few seconds, Darkaan had taught them the move 'FLASH', and he left the pokecentre with his team, geared and ready for the caverns and winding tunnels of Dayea Hill.

The nurse grabbed his balls and healed them. "Here you go!" She said returning them.
"Have a nice day. I hope to see you again."

Nero walked in. After his traumatic encounter with an evil nurse on Route 1, he hurried to self healing. Placing his three pokemon on the machine, he relieved their wounds.
He looked at the HM he had just recieved from Lillian. Fly.
"Well," he thought. "Tem's deserves this."
TEMPESTE FORGOT ASTONISH TEMPESTE LEARNT FLY
[[If that's not how fly works, let me know, and I'll edit this, it's just that Often Flying Pokemon have fly in brackets, as a fifth move. Would this apply here?]] Nero then walked out.

Banjin ran over to the Self healing machine, and put his pokeballs on it. After they were through, he grabbed them and left.

Oink warily trotted in, on the lookout for the agent. You never knew what a pimple could make some people do...
She stuck her Pokeballs into the machine, finding a dusty Oran Berry on the floor and eating that herself. After the pretty machine did its little beeping song, she grabbed the Pokeballs in her mouth and trotted out. No sense in staying...Off to the Reef!

The boy Dylan paused before putting his pokeballs into the healing machine. He considered not healing the Glameow. But, that would effectively knock out half of his pokemon. And that wasn't going to work. So, Dyl healed everyone. The machine beeped, and he was off again.

Tom approached the self-healing machine. "Spears and Sentry got a bit banged up before I could catch them. I'll put Geo on because he ended up in a bit of pain too." He watched as his Pokemon were healed. The centre probably wasn't the best place to let them out of their Pokeballs, so Tom decided to wait until he got to the Training area. "Adoption agencies or breeders now, I think."
