Valley of Death
Lv 45 Max
The biggest region in all of Kantex, the Valley of Death is a valley that has long been cursed. No tree has ever grown in it, but forests grow around the haunted barren wasteland. Its dry air, hot winds, blistering sands and cracking desserts makes the place unbearable.
The Valley of Death was believed to be a swamp before ‘something’ changed its landscapes and waters millions of years ago. Others believed life came from Kantex, and when the meteor hit, mud flats churned the swamplands and drowned everything in it below the mud. Others believed that the war between Kyogre and Groudon led to the swamps devastation. There was definitely a swamp before this desert as there are many fossils that litter the desert. If you go to the Research Laboratory, they might be able to resurrect your fossil to an omanyte, kabuto, anorith or lileep!
The Valley of Death does attract quite the creepy pokemon. There are many deceased pokemon bones lying around. No wonder cubone and marowak are attracted to this valley. You might even come across their bone shrines or monoliths!
Nincada and ninjask prefer the north of the valley.
If you ever see sandstorms, chances are you’ve found a pokemon, as natural sandstorms are rarely found in this desert. Absol love to dwell towards the center of the desert. Most pokemon love to live underground. But sandshrew like to hide a little under the sand, like trapinch and dunsparce.
Pokemon in the day are recorded to be as high as level 32. At night, they are recorded to be level 45.
We advise you not to travel at night! Mightyena travel in packs and like to pick on anything!
