Oink walked onto the beach, scanning for Pokemon. She needed some Water Pokemon to improve her team. Round it out a little. Twig was perched on her shoulder, alert...Until he fell off, landing with a thump in the sand. <Ouch...> he muttered.

A Slowpoke was sunning itself on a nearby rock. It almost seemed dead.
Out in the sea, the pale horn of a Seel could be seen, peaking out of the water. The horn moved upward a bit so that the eyes of the Pokemon were visible. The Seel was watching Oink, but didn't attempt to get any closer. It was still about ten meters out into the ocean. |

Oink saw the Seel, and waved cheekily. She knew it saw her, and she saw it. The end.
She approached the Slowpoke slowly, trying to repel the sudden urge to poke it. It was alive. She hoped.

The slowpoke in question,was surely alive.Because just as Oink approached he turned himself over so his belly would catch the beating sun.He slowly opened a lazy eye and looked at oink before closing the eye again and snorting.Darn trainers always interuping his bathing time!

Oink saw the Slowpoke snort at her and stuck out her tounge. Never mind. She didn't need him. She tiptoed away and looked around for more water pokemon.

'Not good enough for you now eh?' the slowpoke thought as he slowly got up and stood shakerly on his feet.Still feeling numb for laying on the rock for atleast 6 hours.'If I'm not good enough then you must be worse! I bet you can't even dodge a Confusion!' The slowpoke thought.But another part of his mind was saying just lay down and forget about it!Desiding to go with the stronger of the two voices the slowpoke sent a sloppy confusion at Oink and her pokemon.

Oink stepped to the side, and the Confusion wobbled on by. "Go! Twig! Use Razor Leaf!" she cried. Twig obeyed the commands.

The Razor Leafs bounded off the Slowpoke easily.

It waddled over lazily, and stuck it's tail into the sea.

The Slowpoke whipped it's tail up, revealing a carvahna caught on the tip of it's pink tail.
<GETITOFFGETITOFF!>
It cried, slowly moving it's tail from side to side, clearly trying to shake off it's attacker.
It clearly wasn't working...

Twig quickly fired off some Razor Leaves at the Carvanna, and Oink morphed and Extrasensorized the Pokemon.

The Carvahna was struck from the slowpoke by the razor leaf, but dodged the extrasensory. From within the water, it launched itself, using a crunch attack, heading for Twig.

The carvahna couldn't take it anymore. He jumped into the water.
[CUE JAWS THEME]
Suddenly, a swarm of fins could be seen under the surface.
Sharpedos!
One of them emerged, and shot a Water Pulse at Oink and Twig.
But it never hit...
The Slowpoke had waddled in front of them
<Duh..You hurt her... and I hurt you!>

Oink sent a Hypnosis towards one Sharpedo, and Twig shot Razor Leaves at all of them.

The Sharpedo was resistant to the Hypnosis, and it had no effect.
However, many carvahna fainted because of the razor leaves.
They were scooped up by the Sharpedo, and taken away to goodness knows where.
The slowpoke lay down again, clearly fatigued...

The Slowpoke groaned at the stinging berry juice, but soon, it was soothing...
The heals cleared up, and He smiled dopely (sp?).

Suddenly, it used Yawn, and began to feel sleepy, lulling Oink with him.
<When I fall asleep... can you catch me? You're a good type of trainer...>
And with that, he fell gently, asleep.

In the sea, a few staryu began blinking their orbs in harmony too. Some Krabby pincers start clicking, and even the waves seem to be in a rhythm. It's the Ocean Sonata! All sorts of pokemon are drawn to the beach by this song.
A few Chinchou bounce out of the water.
