What an irritating pokemon. The boy couldn't help but think that it would drive him insane just listening to it chatter all day.
The Cyndaquil rolled up into a tight ball as it was hit with its own ember attack. Quetzal then unrolled before flinging itself up at the pokemon, attempting to tackle to bird, but to no avail. Quetzal's stubby legs simply weren't long enough to jump that high. Fortunately, Dylan was there to catch her from falling.
"C'mon," the boy said, holding the Cyndaquil in his arms like a little baby, "We're gonna find some berries, 'kay?" He tried to ignore the Chatot as he continued down the path.

It seemed that the Chatot wasn't going to quit though. " ChatotChatotChatotChatotChatotChatot"!!! It screamed at Dylan, flapping its wings so that bird feathers fell on him

"Fine!" The boy said, releasing his Kadabra from its pokeball. "Atlas, use confusion on that bird!" Quetzal clutched her trainer, not in the mood for a battle. Dylan brushed the feathers off of her back.
^You know, you didn't have to tell me that- I know what is on your mind.^
The psychic pokemon created a bunch of confusing energy between his spoons before firing it at the annoying bird.

Chatot was hit by the attack, falling to the ground and....and....oh dear. Dylan killed Chatot!

"Crap," Dylan muttered. But the boy wasn't the least bit remorseful. In fact, he was more bothered by the fact that he wasn't bothered than by the fact that the Chatot seemed to have lost it's life.
^Annoying thing: terminated.^ Atlas was always in a good mood.
Well, at least now they could look for berries, the real reason they were here. Apparently, Atlas had grown a lot stronger since he had evolved which meant a bit of training against the pokemon of the forest wouldn't hurt him...especially if they were in the way.

Suddenly an Aspear Berri fell from a tree and landed in Chatots mouth. Chatot was revived(Totally fake Aspear Berri)! The Pokemon followed Dylan again, starting to make noises as it walked.

"Crap!" Dylan said, this time, noticably louder.
^One step ahead of you,^ Atlas spoke into his trainer's mind as he released another confusion attack.
Quetzel loosened her grip on her trainer and fired an ember at the Chatot, but still remained in Dyl's arms. She didn't like the bird pokemon much either.

The pokemon was hit by the attacks, and fell over again. After a moment, it seemed to defy reality, and rose again. This Chatot must be stubborn. [/sub]

Dylan didn't say anything this time, only glared at the Chatot. Never, in all his years of training pokemon, had he met such a stupid, stupid, idiotic pokemon.
^Surely you have a better vocabulary than that,^ the Kadabra thought before firing yet another confusion attack at the Chatot. ^How about **** **** **** **** stupid?^ Another confusion attack.
Without any warning, Kitty popped out of her pokeball. Seeing that her Dylly-poo was in danger, the cat launched herself at the Chatot, ignoring the fact that Atlas was already fighting it. Claws outstretched, she attempted to scratch the Chatot.

The Chatot was down and out, and there was hardly a chance that it would get up again.
(((I have no clue about what to say. So, there is what you have to play off of.))) [/sub]

Dylan stared hard at the pokemon before deciding to move on. He continued through the forest, just hoping that the annoying pokemon wouldn't follow. Atlas stayed behind, ready to finish the Chatot if it dared arise from its resting place.
"Now, we can look for berries," the boy announced.

That Chatot was the least of there problems, because three more appeared out of the trees.
Was it you who did that to our 'friend?'
That was the largest of the three, the one in the middle. When he shifted his position, an Oran Berri fell to the ground. [/sub]

The Kadabra used his psychic energy to teleport the berry to his friend before sending a blast of confusing energy at the three Chatots. He would teach them. He would. Atlas was not one to be messed with, and these birds had gotten on his nerves.

The birds fell backwards off the branch, and landed easily on the ground.
You can pass if you give us something in return. make it good, boy.

<I could be out of here whenever I want,> the Kadabra said, <Have you ever heard of teleport. Or are you too far from any civilized place to know what that is?> He fired another confusion attack at the birds, energy radiating from the spoons he held in his hands. <You're really beginning to get on my nerves.>

The birds fell back, but were up in a flash, and surrounded the Kadabra.
<You have disrespected our territory, and us at that. Now you will pay the ultimate price.>
The Chatot charged in at the Kadabra and started to attack it with claws and beaks. [/sub]

The Kadabra was hit by a couple of beaks before it teleported away. Then, it fired yet another confusion attack at the Chatot's. A very basic strategy for such a strong mind, but sometimes, simplicity is best.
Meanwhile, Dylan had returned, wondering what had taken Atlas so long. He let out a sigh when he noticed that the Chatots had multiplied. Like Bunearies, he thought.

The three chatot glared at Dylan before returning to the bushes and trees. They were gone, not thinking that there were going to be a fight. [/sub]

"Let's get out of here. Just leave 'em alone. We've got what we came her for anyways. Just teleport me to the Lapras Shrine."
A second later, they were gone.
