ooc|| Well...being impatient little me, I suppose I'll just continue this, yep. I'd kinda like to finish it (or at least get close) before I have to return to school.
bic|| "Riiiight," Jai said, rolling her eyes. She obviously didn't believe him. "And your Fearow evolved into a Blastoise." Okay. Sarcasm. That wasn't really good.
-----
The officer nodded, happy that some trainers had volunteered. "Why don't you follow me over here then." With that, she began to walk down the route, towards the lake.

Darkaan liked the fact that she didn't believe him He decided to take the opportunity to dazzle her. "Let's follow the officer, Jai!" Darkaan said, heading toward the lake... "Ugh! Oops!" He said, purposefully making a mistake by fumbling Siloam's pokeball on his pokebelt. It didn't fall off though, as he intended it too.
"Oh phew! I thought it was going to fall off!" He said laughing sheepishly at Jai. So he decided to walk sideways, facing left. His right arm could easily be seen fussing over his belt. He faced the front quickly and Siloam's pokeball fell from his belt.
"Oh dang!" Darkaan said as it rolled a little in the sand and then settled. Siloam didn't break out, so Darkaan kept walking, embarassed.
"Uh can you get that for me, Jai?" Now he felt like a prime goose.

Jai watched Darkaan's act skeptically. What had gotten into the boy? Hormones, she finally decided. She had heard the word used in reference to teen boys who had lost their heads often enough. As Darkaan walked sideways, she wondered what kind of magical powers these so-called hormones had, to be able to turn such a boy into a babbling idiot.
When he finally dropped the ball, Jai sighed, once again wondering what had gotten into him. And now he wanted her to pick it up? Jai hit her leg against the Ponyta's side, causing her to speed up towards the pokeball. Then, she whispered something into the pokemon's ear, and the firey horse slowly lowered her head and picked up the ball with her mouth. The pokemon trotted over to where Darkaan was on command, then halted.
"Seriouslly Darkaan," she said with a smirk, "If Siloam was too much of a problem for you, you could have told me up front and I would have taken him back."
Dez looked curiously from one trainer to the other, now drooling on the pokeball which was still firmly caught between her teeth.
"Hey! Are you guys coming or not?" asked the officer, who was now a good thirty feet ahead of the duo.

Mac continued to stay quiet. He wanted to in order not to get the boy's attention. The reason to was confusing to even Mac, but he knew it was making him not to be known. Perhaps it was the sudden rivalry that Mac decided to take since his ultimate goal was to beat as many trainers as possible. For now, Mac would be better off to just stay quiet and not get himself in deep trouble.
Larvitar noticed his trainers being quiet and followed as well. He was starting to wonder now what Mac was trying to do. They seemed to be in some kind of rush to get to each city, but Mac never said anything. For now, the two just followed the officer.

[ooc: Sorry I haven't been on in a while, been busy. Hoping to get back into it now that I'm free.]
Astra scrambled to put two and two together. The guy went off with a fearow, but it wasn't. Well, it was a fearow, but it wasn't like any kind she'd seen before. What kind of Pokemon could transform like that? Or, for that matter, what kind of person, pokemorph or pokemon, could speak such an outlandish dialect?
<Demon? But what kind of Pokemon would be a demon?> She mumbled aloud, <Stupid Astra, what are you thinking? Demons aren't true.> But were they?
Turning to her pokemon, she asked, <Zon?>
<Eh?>
<Is there such thing as a demon pokemon, like a shiny or dark one?>
<It's a possibility.> Zon said, then, turning in the direction of the police added, <You should probably go talk to them. I'm thinking that they're going to need as much help as they can get.>
<Right,> Astra nodded, then dashed off in the police's direction, <Excuse me? Did you see what happened? Then man? Aren't you going after him? Can I help? Testimonies? Whatever?>

The officer turned towards Astra and listened to what she had to say, seeming to have no problem understanding at all.
<I'm sure you can help,> she said in broken poketoungue (but good for a human,) then, added in English, "We need all the help that we can get."
The young officer was suddenly alert, looking from side to side. A moment later, a group of Mankeys jumped out at them from the trees. Angry, territorial looks flashed across their faces- they desired nothing less than death for those who had dared to enter their territory.
The pokemon screamed as they jumped from the trees and the officer mirrored their screams.
"What's that?" Jai asked, looking towards the officer when she screamed, "We better go see." The girl kicked the ponyta in the side, harder than she had meant to because she was anxious to get to the action. The dark pokemon reared up, and bolted towards the officer, dropping Siloam's pokeball at Darkaan's feet by complete accident when she ran.

(Ooc: Rob Darkaan of his glory, PBK!)
"No I-" He stopped as he didn't want to ruin the surprise. The fact that Jai delivered the pokeball back via ponyta offended him. He didn't see or hear the convo that took place as he indulged on his hurt.
"What the-?" He fumed as the ponyta suddenly bolted, dropping the pokeball. He vented silently and picked up the pokeball- glaring angrily into Jai's back as she rode off.
He saw two unfamiliar trainers run past. He looked up the beach to see where they were running too.
It didn't take long to catch up to them all. "Coming through! I shall deal with this!" Darkaan said loudly, trying to get Jai's attention. Darkaan looked at the officer.
"I can take them on officer! I have strong pokemon!" Darkaan said winking at Jai, loudly. Now he could finally show her Siloam!

ooc|| Heh. Both I and my pokemon are rather offensive at times. Don't mind us. bic|| The officer reached for something on her belt, but came up empty-handed. A terrified expression crossed her face as she mumbled something almost inaudible, "No pokemon." Suddenly, the girl was frozen with fear, not moving an inch as the Mankeys rushed towards her. There were seven Mankeys, all of their coats shining in the moonlight, mirroring their eyes which glowed in anger. It was quite an eerie sight, the pokemon; they puffed themselves up as they screamed at the trainers, daring them to meet them in a challenge. Then, as one body, they lurched, throwing themselves in the trainers' direction, not waiting for them to even release their pokemon to fight. They knocked over the young officer in the proccess. --- Des reared up as the mankey's came her direction. The firey pokemon wasn't used to being attacked. Jai, who hadn't been expecting the attack, threw down the first few pokeballs she could get her hands on, which just happened to be Viper her Ekans, and Kuran, the Shiny Umbreon that she had just adopted. She pointed in the general direction of the Mankeys, not wanting to waste time explaining. Viper shot poison stings toward the croud of Mankey and Kuran used Psychic. ooc|| And by the way, I'm going to reply to the plot every day that there's a response. There's a couple of reasons for doing this- first, to encourage people to be active, and second, to hopefully have a good chunk of it done before I start school again.

Darkaan saw the opportunity and let Mortochi take a step forward. He also released Siloam. "Finally!" He thought. The huge arbok reared back, glaring at Darkaan but saw the automatic threat and swivelled around to face the mankey. It's ability 'intimidate' affected the mankey.
"Siloam! Use glare at the mankey! Paralyze 'em!" Darkaan ordered the arbok. Siloam resentfully obeyed Darkaan and reared back up off the ground and used the attack. However, he didn't use his face! He used the patterns on it's belly to glare at the mankey!
"That is so cool!" Darkaan thought, admiring the intimidation Siloam had on his soul. "I gotta get a shadow arbok for myself!"
However he was quickly distracted when he saw his larvitar run towards the mankey to defend the officer.
"Mortochi! Use screech! Lower their defenses!"

ooc|| To help judge the amount of damage done by the attacks, let's assume that all of the Mankeys are between the levels of 20 and 25.
bic|| The officer flinched when she heard the screech.
Three of the seven Mankeys were paralyzed in fear by Siloam's attack. One of them fainted from the psychic attack, and another two were poisoned.
The remaining Mankeys attacked the opposing pokemon with a combination of Karate Chops and Low Kicks. -----
Jai patted Dez on her neck, trying to calm the ponyta. She led the pokemon in the opposite direction, retreating slightly from the battle, all the while cooing, "It's okay, it's okay Dezzy."
Then, the girl turned her attention back to the fight, noticing Siloam in his newly evolved form for the first time. So Darkaan wasn't kidding? But how had he-? She had no time to wonder, and instead, screamed orders from where she was sitting on her Ponyta.
"Viper: Acid, Kuran: Psychic!"
ooc|| Should I give out the levels for this plot...or do you want to Gravon? And no, it's not over (or even remotely close); I was just wondering.

OOC: Well, this will be tough for Mac... IC: Larvitar tried to step forward to fight as well, but Mac blocked him. "You might not be able to take them," Mac said. The Mankeys did look tough, and a Rock type like Larvitar would be miserable in battle. The only one who would stand any chance might be Hoothoot. At least Hoothoot could weaken them or distract them a bit. With that plan, Mac grabbed Hoothoot's ball. He threw it in the air and in a flash of white light, Hoothoot appear. But before the most obvious course of action could be taken, the Hoothoot headed straight for Mac! Hoothoot was about to Tackle Mac, but when he raised a fist, Hoothoot just turned around. "Alright then," Mac was satisfied in thinking that Hoothoot knew what to do, "Hoothoot, try a Growl at the Mankeys. If possible, interrupt their attacks with a Tackle!"

"Jai! Use Exzodus! Drillpeck!" Darkaan yelled at Jai as he saw his larvitar get pounded by the mankeys.
Mortochi was incredibly weak so Darkaan withdrew him. Bad idea! He released Tek, Darkaan's shiny mantine.
"Hey Tek! Use wing attack!" Darkaan commanded. <I gotta better idea, Darkaan!>
Tek flew out over the lake and picked up tremendous speed as his wake (made by his tail) formed a wave over the waters. It grew... and it grew...
Darkaan looked at Tek in horror as he saw the wave get bigger... and bigger... It's shadow fell on him as it was just literally meters from the shore... Tek was using surf! His level 46 mantine was planning of washing the mankey into the lake! He obviously didn't think of anyone else in the process.
"TEK!" Darkaan screamed.

ooc|| Dangit...I wrote half a post yesterday...looks like I forgot to finish it. o_0;

The Mankey's covered their ears when they heard the bird type growl. Apparently, they found it very, very, VERY annoying. At the same time, they tried to swat the hoothoot away (which is very hard to accomplish while covering one's ears to drown out the sound.) They didn't even seem to notice the wave coming on to them.
The officer, however, wasn't so oblivious. She immediately saw the wave, and proceeded to run a good five feet behind Darkaan. Not that this would make any difference whatsoever if the wave hit shore.
"Exzodus?" Jai asked, more to herself than anyone else. Oh yeah, Darkaan's pokemon he had just given her to train for a little while. But which pokeball was his? Jai took the pack off of her back and looked through. Darkaan was always putting his pokemon in premeir balls- the fancy one must be his. She pressed the little button on the pokeball to release Exzodus.
The giant bird pokemon flew upwards, then looked around, confused for half a second before he remembered that he was staying with Jai for a time.
"Exzodus, Drill peck!"

Darkaan stumbled back in pure fright and tripped over the officer. Oh did that wave come!
He felt the waterwall smack him silly. He fould himself standing underwater for a few seconds and then feel himself come through the other side. Then he felt the tug of water come back and start dragging him towards the lake.
"DO WHAT I SAY NEXT TIME TE-" *glug!* "GASP!* Darkaan spluttered as he got washed into the lake and submerged again. "Tek get me out! -Can't swim!" Darkaan struggled to fight against the backwash of the reclining surf attack. His hair turned blue as his mantine decided to swoop and pick him out of the water. He spluttered as his mantine dropped him on the land. Siloam seemed to have tightened his grip around now a rather loose-looking-dead tree.
"Siloa- *cough* Siloam! Use poison fang!" Darkaan spluttered, rather disorientated. He couldn't see in front of himself that well, groggy by the water he vastly consumed.

ooc||Dangit...I already typed this post. Teach me to leave my post unattended without submitting it. On a completely random note, I'm only here now cuz I have to wait for the hair dye to take to my hair and such. Got a spare twenty minutes or so on my hands.
bic|| The wave which had crashed on the land nearly swept Jai and Dez out to sea...er, lake. It did managed to make the poor Ponyta faint- she wasn't yet strong enough to withstand such a blow. Jai returned the pokemon to her pokeball, then looked around to assess the damage done.
Many of the Mankeys had been washed out and were no where in sight. The two who were left fled in fear, disappearing quickly into the nearby trees. They didn't want to take on the trainers without their backup.
"Sorry about that," the officer said so quietly, that it was debatable whether she was speaking to the others, or to herself, "I usually have pokemon with me." She stared up at the nearly full moon which shone above them. "Just not tonight." Then, a little louder, "Well, we better get going now."

<Thossse pokemon are gone!> Siloam hissed. Darkaan groaned and didn't get up from where he was lying. He put his face in the sand, deadly embarrassed. How many people were glaring at him?
Darkaan's mantine was too strong to wield in battle because of the lack of Gym Badges! In fact, he received a serious revelation!
Even though they loved him, because they were too busy trying to impress him that they WERE actually ignoring his orders! Their love for him had him blinded to reason! They were actually ignoring him because they were too uncontrollable due to his limited authority with the lack of Gym Badges he currently owned!
He jumped up when he heard the officer call out 'We'd better get going now'. He thought she said it a bit loud. He wasn't deaf! Maybe she had water in her ears?
Darkaan returned Siloam and Tek to their pokeballs. He headed over to Jai, while wringing out his wet shirt and hair. "Well I love your shadow arbok, Jai! The only thing..." He lowered his voice to whisper so that Siloam couldn't hear him from his pokeball. "We just don't get along." He raised up his arm to show two massive punctures in his arm; an obvious bite mark that Siloam left behind. "This how he rewarded me when I put him into a luxury ball." Darkaan's hair was slowly turning a dirty-blonde colour again. The officer was up ahead of them.

"That's okay," Jai said, taking the pokeball back from Darkaan, "Sometimes poison type pokemon can be hard to work with. I suppose that Siloam is one of those cases." She smiled at him before continuing, "But I'd like to keep Exzodus for a little while longer if you don't mind. I haven't had much time to work on his landings yet."
Just then another officer rode up on her motorcycle. A girl was with her. The officer stopped just long enough to let the girl, Amber, off of her bike, then continued at her insane pace, only leaving a cloud of dust behind her.

She let Spartin back out. Spartin looked around at all thease people. Amber just stood there conffused waiting for an answer.

"Ah, we just cleaned up a team of badd-ass mankey! We just came from the beach. False call. I reckon some dumb farfetch'd made weird markings in the sand. Don't know what the commotion was about." Darkaan hooted. He pulled the sleeves of the bite mark down, hiding it from Amber.
Darkaan released his larvitar again and picked him up. As he pulled two potions from his pack and healed him, Darkaan turned to Jai. "What's up with the officer? She is one weird chick?"
Darkaan then turned to the new trainer. "And what's your name? Why did that Officer drop you here? You don't look like a criminal... or a trainer."

Jai bit her tongue, not responding to Darkaan's question about the officer. Then, when he commented about Amber not looking like a trainer, she jabbed him hard in the side with her elbow. Of course the girl was a trainer- she had a pokemon with her! No need to embarrass the new kid even more!
The girl returned all of her pokemon to their balls. With all the people around here, it was getting quite chaotic, and she didn't want to lose any of them.
"We better catch up," Jai said plainly, referring the officer who had gotten ahead of them during their little chat. The officer had stopped, presumably to wait for them; she seemed anxious, perhaps her first night on the job.

Darkaan rudely stared at the new member of the group when he felt a jab of pain under his ribs. He dropped Mortochi in surprise. He looked down only to hear Jai telling them to catch up. He hobbled after her, clutching his side. Mortochi hummed as he walked. He kept up with Jai as Darkaan tried to catch up.
<Hey y'know what would be really cool, Jai?> Asked Mortochi, not waiting for her response. <Exzodus is a huge fearow. You can have him fly your poynta for you so it feels like you have a flying horse!>
Darkaan walked past the new stranger and stared at her while doing so.

Amber blushed, "My name is Amber, and by the way I am a trainer." She said as she walked alittle ahead of him, really she had no idea where they were heading. "Oh and i's polite to say your name before asking another's name." Spartin kind of nudged Darkaan as it made it's way up to its trainer. Spartin had abit of an attitude like Amber.

The officer turned off the beaten path and headed into the woods. "We're almost there." Jai burned with jealousy as she saw Darkaan and the new girl checking eachother out. She tried to ignore it. Then, she noticed Mortochi next to her, saying something. Flying Ponyta? "Just one problem- Dez fainted after a wave that a certain someone," Jai glared back at Darkaan, though he probably couldn't see her due to the number of trees around them, "let wash over her." A small cabin became visible up ahead. Someone must have had a fire burning from within; smoke rose from the chimney in strange purple puffs. The door was left slightly ajar, making the place almost welcoming, though the rest of it was rather eerie in appearance. Vines which used to cover the front of it, were now dead, all the leaves fallen to the ground. The remains of a picket fence were so few and far between that it took quite the imagination to see that it was ever there at all. The whole thing was like a fairy tale gone completely wrong. The officer walked up to the door, and even though it was open, knocked on it. (Though to others, the knocks may have seemed random, Darkan might recognize it as the same knock that Officer Dai used when entering another room back on route 7.) ooc|| meh, moving kind of quickly now. Darkaan absorbed Amber's comments and remained quiet feeling her pokemon nudge him.
When the officer started walking through the woods, a twinge of fear gripped his stomach. His mind flash backed to his experience on Route 7 where an officer led him into the woods only to be petrified by her.
Seeing the cabin up ahead, didn't bring comfort to Darkaan's soul.
"This couldn't be Officer Dai, could it?" He thought. He didn't really look at the officers face when he arrived on the scene. But... Markings... He saw markings on the doors on Route 7, and markings from the lake sands... Could they be?..
He ran past Amber quickly saying "By the way, I'm Darkaan", but rather fast. He needed to see this officers face. He got to the door to see the knock rather than open the door. He noticed her weird knock but said nothing.
Then very quietly he spoke.
"Officer Dai? Dyl?"
* * * * *
<Oh! I mean, when you heal Dez, you can have a flying fire pokemon combo! Wouldn't that be cool?!?> Mortochi said smiling up at Jai. <That could be your pokemon signature as a trainer! Darkaan's still trying to find his!>
