A shadow appeared above Route 7, its appearance becoming more defined as it glided towards Dayea Hill...
"Ok... Start pulling up... Pull up... PULL UP! ..." "PULL UP! PULL UP! PULL UP-"
SQUAWK! ARGH!!! CRASH! FRIGGIN-! WHACK! OWCH!!! ...
Exzodus and Darkaan crash landed and tumble a few feet, both bumped, scratched and bruised.
"WHEN ARE YOU EVER GOING TO FLY PROPERLY!!!" <Sorry!> "WHEN I SAY PULL UP I MEA-" <SORRY!> "By george! Next time I'll leave you in the PC and get Tek to fl-" Tears started to flow from the eyes of Darkaan's fearow. "Oh! Uh! Oh no! Sorry! Oh my gosh! I'm sorry!" Darkaan said as his giant bird pokemon tried to control itself. Exzodus placed his head under his wing and cried into his feathers...
"Oh gosh! I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lose it. You'll get it one day. I trust you can conquer your landings. I'm sorry!" Darkaan said patting Exzodus on the neck and hugging him.
"The reason why I'm losing it is because I love you. You're the first pokemon I met on my journey and I... I want to see you grow fast so that you can be awesome in all that you do. I really want the best for you."
<Then why do you keep yelling at me?> Came a muffled cry from under Exzodus' golden wing.
"Sorry! That is me being unreasonable and irrational." Darkaan said. He didn't know what else to say. "Please forgive me." He reached into his bag and pulled out a poke-pellet. "Here! Have some food."
Reconcilliation was made before the dank and smelly mouth of Dayea Hill's cavern.

A load roar echoed from within the cavern... As the sound died, so did any form of invite or friendliness to Dayea Hill's gigantic mouth-like entry to the damp caverns...
Less then two meter into the caves entry, everything is engulfed in blackness. Gulp! Flash really looks necessary to get through this dank and dark cavern...

Darkaan returned Exzodus to his pokeball. He didn't like the dark, so he withdrew the rest of his pokemon. Mortochi his larvitar, Thundigar his electabuzz, Marco his magmar, Vain-Glory his victreebel and Tek his mantine.
"Thundigar, Magmar, use FLASH!" Darkaan commanded. No sooner had he spoke that both his elemental emitted a bright and blinding flash.
This was what he wasn't it expecting. Darkaan was expecting the light to be illuminating from Thundigar's fists, tail or head or something. Instead, light beamed from his open and exposed armpits.
"Uh, Thundigar?" <Yeah!> Thundigar grunted. "You're extremely so not normal!" <Thanks, I guess.> "I'm just glad that the FLASH didn't come from your butt." <No. Just from another smelly source.> "Enough!"
They walked into the depths of the hill. The light from the entrance was getting smaller and smaller as they went further in. They snaked through the passages and could barely see in front of eachother in spite both Marco and Thundigar using flash. Vain-Glory seemed to see alright in the dark and lumed mysteriously in the dark far ahead. Darkaan held close to the light as did Tek and Mortochi. The sound of dripping and the sound of water could be heard not to far away.
Darkaan hoped he wouldn't have to hear another roar like he had heard before entering the cave. What foul pokemon could that have been?

Not a roar, but a loud rumble came from close by. Sounded like a stomach...
Silence hung in the air as all went still.
Then from out of nowhere came a bellowing and disgusting belch!

Marco swung around to where he heard the noise... Darkaan could see something but Marco couldn't. He could make out an odd shape.

The light of the flare highlighted something right next to Darkaan's face. What was it? It was swinging back and forth... A pendulum swing... Red and wet... Sticky wet... like a punching bag really. Heh! It looked REALLY tempting to punch! Like REALLY tempting to bunch...
Something was watching Darkaan and his group.
Two huge red eyes lit up from the flare's light (which Darkaan couldn't see) and glared wickedly at Thundigar.

(Lol! Just realised what this thing was Gravon! HAH!)
Darkaan chuckled, pulled his arm back and gave the solid red punching-bag-thing a good solid punch.
As he hit the red thing, something jogged his memory. The belching... the darkness... the loudness of the burp... the similar sound of his shadow burping whismur from Acerbus... HOLY SMOKE!!!

PLOCK! The sound of jaws could be heard coming down in the dark as the red punching bag disappeared.
The flare lit up the red eyes of the beast. The punching bag emerged again as a huge roar came from a gaping mouth, inches from Darkaans face.
It raised it's foot getting ready to stomp Darkaan...

(Occ: Is the pokemon loudred???)
Marco pushed Darkaan aside and copped the blow from the pokemon's stomp attack. Darkaan gasped in amazement at Marco's selfless act. He was in such shock that he couldn't speak as he watched Marco take on the pokemon.
Marco's flare grew brighter as he used tail glow. The cavern lit up more as the magmar's tail emitted greater light. The light exposed the pokemon as to being a...

(Ooc: Hehe! Yep! ) The pokemon reared back and used uproar on Marco. It caused an uproar making a deafening sound in the tunnel. The pokemon was indeed a loudred as only a mouth that big could emit such a sound.

(Ooc: Tailglow= +2. Thunderbolt +4 special attack power= pwnage! ) Shaken by the attack, but searing with anger, Marco used tail glow again, while releasing a thunderbolt at the loudred.

[size=1 Then loudred released another uproar, this time hitting both Marco and Darkaan's electabuzz.
The thunderbolt completely shook the loudred silly, but only made it release another uproar attack at Marco. It hid it's weakness well despite it was now panting allot from Marco's attack. [/size]

Darkaan gasped and lay helpless on the ground as Marco took on the loudred.
Marco blew a flame on his fist, brought it back and followed through with a fir punch, right at the loudred's mouth roof!

It gagged and clutched at it's throat (if loudred's have throats) and started coughing up swabs of slime and mucus over Darkaan's party. It weezed as it's eyes rolled back into it's head, falling on it's back and fainting.
Silence filled the darkness, with the far-away sound of fluttering and screeches from zubat. The sound of dripping echoed throughout the darkness.

Darkaan decided to drop a pokeball on the loudred. Maybe it will get on well with his shiny loudred?

The loudred was caught! ((Stats)) Nickname: (you choose) Species: Loudred Gender: (You Choose) Level: 26 Attacks: Stomp, Howl, Double Team, Uproar Ability: Soundproof Persona: Possessive A damp smell came from up ahead. The cave seemed to get narrower and more fungus- filled. Glow in then dark fungi littered the walls ahead as numerous tunnels branched ahead of them. Where to go?

(Ooc: I would love to have some of the following pokemon. Venomoth, parasect, onix, nincada, mawile and sableye?)
Darkaan got up from the ground and he proceeded through the inky blackness, picking up the pokeball. He took the lead, his electabuzz and magmar lighting the way in front of him and behind for all to follow.
He finally entered the tunnels.
As they walked on, Darkaan realised their light wasn't as powerful. Not to mention his party was very quiet behind him.
He looked back only to see Marco and Mortochi behind him.
"Wha- Where is everyone else?" Mortochi spun around and froze. <WHERE ARE YOU GUYS?!?> He suddenly boomed out loud. Him, Mortochi and Marco were in a very dry rocky encampment. Just ahead the tunnel broke out into something that looked like a lair.
* * * * *
Vain-Glory and Tek were in the dark. Thundigar got distracted and went down someplace dark as he saw something shiny. He tumbled and his light disappeared for Tek and Vain-Glory to follow.
Now Vain-Glory and Tek were all alone in the pitch blackness, waiting for Darkaan to come back. They did not hear Mortochi call out. They were pretty lost. The dampness settling on them.
* * * * *
Electabuzz tumbled down some uneven ground making him fall down a level in the caverns. Gems sparkled all around him as he shone.

(Ooc: Oh I really like what you've done here! I'll see what I can do here! You have to have some randomness here somewhere!)
Mortochi's cry rumbled through the open dry, rocky cavern in front of them. As Darkaan turned around something rumbled right behind him. It sounded big. The scampering of diglet and flutter of wings from zubat continued as the grounding sounds and tremors started to take place.
<RRROOOOOOAAAARRRR!>
= = = = =
The roar was so loud, that Vain-Glory and Tek could hear the roar quite well. Zubat flew past them. Also a venonat brushed past them.
= = = = =
The pokemon's roar from Darkaan's chamber could be faintly heard from where (Thundigar?) stood. Bothered by having the hills disturbed by these unweary travellers and bothered by this light, emitting thunder pokemon, something wanted to claim it's soul. It wouldn't stop following it.
<Ggggaaaa! GAAA!> The Darkness consumed the brightness of the electabuzz's light and came at him with a slash attack and pulled back into the depths of the caverns darkness.

Darkaan felt terror grip his stomach as the roar shook the foundations of the caverns. "Mortochi! Get ready to do some serious battling for me! Some thing's approaching us!"
Mortochi jumped in front of his trainer. <I can't see! Marco! Get behind me so you can shine your light brighter!> Marco did so and used tail glow a third time. At his full special attack power, the cavern was fully lit up by his blazing tail...
* * * * *
Vain-Glory hissed threateningly at the sounds of wings. He didn't like the feel of fur brush past him. Tek shivered in the darkness. Vain-Glory groped around in the darkness, hoping to find Tek's tail. Finally, with luck, he wrapped his tendril around Tek's tail.
The poor mantine could be felt bolting ahead in fear but Vain-Glory held on hissing. Tek finally understood Vain-Glory's logic and accepted the victreebel's stance. They were to walk holding onto eachother together, just in case they were seperated in the darkness. They felt and heard diglett scurry beneath them and the occasional venonat or zubat scurry past.
* * * * *
Surprised by the attack, Thundigar leapt back in pure fear. He cast a thunder wave into the darkness and then ran, tripping over his tail and scrambled up the diagonal shaft he tumble down. The stairs were fairly loose as he scrambled up to meet Darkaan and the gang... Only... they weren't their.

(Ooc: Actually, this is going to be quite hard to rp. I'll try tho...)
Rocks rotated before Darkaan's eyes and moving at a certain pace in one direction... How-?-!!! A massive shadow of a giant snake lit the roof of the cavern! A huge onix bared down on Darkaan and his team. It look as though it was just woken and it looked ready to smash who-ever it was that woke it up.
It roared again as it bought down it's tail towards Mortochi and Darkaan!
* * * * *
All was silent for a while as Vain-Glory and Tek stood alone for awhile in the dark. That was until a faint roar was heard again.
* * * * *
Finally, the sound traveled towards Thundigar. Something, pursued the electabuzz. <Lets see how this fiend likes to be pursued!> The darkness mused.
Something lept from the blackness and used nightshade on Thundigar! Although this time it's eyes caught Thundigar's light. It had huge gemstones for eyes! The fiend was a sableye!

Darkaan didn't have Vain-Glory or Tek to clean the onix up. Darkaan fell to the ground and tried to roll away from the attack. Marco got slammed and Mortochi threw up it's hands and copped tjhe weight of the onix. The attack didn't effect Mortochi that much.
Darkaan was breathing extremely hard, amazed and thankful his larvitar. He would've been crushed by the onix's weight!
Mortochi, really angry threw it's tail up threw the air. Out of pure reaction, he became bold and offensive. He ran up the onix's back and lunged at the onix's face with a 'crunch' attack.
* * * * *
<This way!> Whispered Tek. He didn't go very far when he ran into the mossy wall. <OWCH!>
He turned to the side and hovered next to it, feeling with his wing, the side of wall. The wall gave away a few times, but he didn't turn down, what he thought were other tunnels or openings. He constantly went where he thought he heard the sound of the roar. Vain-Glory continued to hold onto the mantine's tail as the mantine led the way.
* * * * *
Finally petrified, that the shiny was pursuing and attacking him, he turned around and threw a thunderwave into the darkness, towards the sparkling gemstone eyes.

Th onix reacted strongly to the larvitar's attack. Now fully awake, it summoned a rock slide to bury the green rock pokemon. It roared in anger again.
* * * * *
In the quietness of the dark, it seemed like something was fanning both Vain-Glory and Tek. It was a fairly repetitive breeze that came upon them.
* * * * *
The thunderwave paralyzed the sableye instantly. The sableye used shadow sneak, attacking Thundigar instantly. The sableye's actions were merciless. It had no feeling for the lost pokemon.

The attack wasn't very effective as larvitar was thrown by rocks. It held on to the onix's head as he bit down with another crunch attack. Marco trembled and peaked out occasionally to see what was happening in the dark.
* * * * *
They ignored the fanning. Tek thought it was Vain-Glory flapping his leafwings to stay in the air. However, Vain-Glory sense something was up. In worry and in anger, he let go of Tek temporarily and cracked his mighty tendril with a vine whip attack into the darkness. He wanted to scare whatever it was away.
Tek flew suddenly out of shock and hurt himself by a hanging stalagtite. He swooped and ran into Vain-Glory in the darkness.
Once again united, they both held onto eachother. Vain-Glory completely still, listening to see what the darkness will do.
* * * * *
Immediately when the sableye struck Thundigar, he automatically wound back his arm and thunderpunched the ghost pokemon. He was fairly drained of energy.

The onix roared in pain, AGAIN! However this time, it spun each rock-like appendage fast, insluding it's head. It threw off Mortochi and continued doing so. It was polishing itself against the floor! It was using the move 'rock polish' to move faster. And it indeed did move faster! It slithered around the den and used the attack rock tomb on Mortochi!
* * * * *
Although nothing could be heard in the darkness, something was definitely moving. Something glowed above their heads and started to settle. It was some type of powder.
In fact it was sleep powder!
This pokemon was assassin-like!
* * * * *
The sableye flew back into the darkness. It screamed but froze half-way through it's cry. It was fully paralyzed!

Mortochi didn't seem to be effected by the attack much. But he felt rather weighed down by the add-on effect the attack had on him. Mortochi moved more slower.
"CRUNCH him MORT! It's your best move against such high defense!" Darkaan yelled at Mortochi. Taking Darkaan at his word, Mortochi glimpsed the face of the fast slithering onix and took another crunch attack at the beast's face.
Due to the inadequate light, Darkaan was trying to see what colour the onix was... He couldn't tell.
* * * * *
Tek heard the noise and tugged at Vain-Glory to follow. However, even though Vain-Glory was dragged along, his senses leaped as his plant-like spores sensed the familiar sleep powder attack he once had. Vain-Glory cracked his whip-like tendril into the darkness again hoping to strike something when he suddenly heard loud snoring... Tek had fallen asleep. His assassin-like skills kicked in- he was open to all sounds and any sense or sign of movement.
* * * * *
Thundigar leapt at the opportunity and followed the sableye's trail, swinging a thunderpunch blindly, but on multiple times, hoping to collide with the pokemon before it broke out of paralysis. He saw it's crystal eyes bare directly at eye sight with him as his 'flash' highlighted the pokemon's presence. He tried to connect his fists to it's crystal eyes...
